Victor® Quick-Set™ Mouse Trap - 12 Traps
The Victor® Quick-Set™ Mouse Trap is our easiest trap to set and use. Simply bait, set and place. When a mouse takes the bait, the Quick-Set™ snaps shut for a quick kill. Its new and improved design offers a narrower body and more effective Kill Point™ to ensure that rodents are exterminated instantly and humanely.
After the rodent has been trapped, the simple squeeze-and-release mechanism opens the mouse trap to dispose of the body cleanly without ever having to touch it.
Easy To Use
The bait hook of the Victor® Quick-Set™ is easy to bait with any favorite mouse foods or nesting materials, and a simple “click” sets and releases the trap without putting your fingers in harm’s way. Once baited, place the Quick-Set™ with the open, baited end against the wall for the next unsuspecting mouse.
Each Quick-Set™ trap is made of highly durable plastic, and can be reused many times or disposed of depending on your personal preference. The trap even features molded finger grips for easy setting. And because the Quick-Set™ is clean, humane and contains no poisons or chemicals, it’s acceptable to use around children and pets when used as directed.
The new, narrow design of the Quick-Set™ means that mice will be more properly positioned for a clean and instant kill. New Kill Point Technology™ adds to this improved design’s efficiency by providing a point to snap onto its target rather than a blunt edge.
Use Anywhere Around the House
The Victor® Quick-Set™ Mouse Traps are perfect for use anywhere in the home, indoors or out. For maximum effectiveness, place multiple traps along walls at 2-to-3 foot intervals along runways where mice love to travel, or wherever you see signs of rodent activity.
The Quick-Set™ is easy to set and use. Here’s how:
- Squeeze the trap slightly to display the bait hook.
- Using a Q-tip, toothpick or other tool to mask your scent, bait the trap by placing peanut butter or anything high in protein like chocolate or hazelnut spread in the bait cup on the underside of the top housing.
- Squeeze the trap firmly until you hear a click and the trap locks in place.
- Place the trap wherever you’ve seen signs of rodent activity, or along the wall where rodents primarily travel. The end of the trap with the bait hook should be placed flush against the wall.
- After the mouse is caught, properly dispose of the dead rodent. The trap can either be discarded or reused.

The older model (beige color) worked fine. This one catches mice by the nose without killing them. The mice cannot escape and they flail about trying to. We had to kill them by hand. I compared the old and new models and the bait trap on this new one is slightly closer to the end of the trap...but "slightly" means a lot when we're talking about an animal as small as a mouse. I tried posting this a week ago and it never posted. Let's see if Victor is willing to let the public see this.Date published: 2016-12-14Rated 1 out of 5 by Kari from Disappointed. Thought these traps would be so much better than the ones I have struggled with. Very disappointed since the first two I tried to set broke before I could even get them baited.Date published: 2016-11-27Rated 1 out of 5 by gelyse from not worth the money I bought 12 of these and they are no good. 2 of them the metal pieces on the bottom fell off and I had to put them back on. They are hard to set and the mice are able to steal the peanut butter off and the trap does not go off. I purchased another type similar to these that do work and I had previous experience with so thought these would be just as good only to find out these were a waste of my money and now got to reorder 12 more traps.Date published: 2016-11-22Rated 5 out of 5 by 0bserver from Catches mice! A relative had a mouse problem in a newly purchased home. I placed 6 traps in various places and in the 1st 4 nights, we got 4 mice. None since, so hopefully gone now. Easy traps to bait and set. No harmful snaps to hurt fingers, and easy to dispose of mice. And re-useable. I am a happy customer!Date published: 2016-11-19Rated 2 out of 5 by SarahC from Caught a mouse and broke the trap Caught a mouse the first night we put the trap up, but the trap broke (the metal piece that clips in so that the trap stays open bent, and now the trap won't stay open) so these are fine if you don't intend to reuse them. If you do want to reuse I would try a different product, especially as this could get pricey quickly if the traps aren't reusable. Seems pretty poorly designed to me if it breaks after one use.Date published: 2016-11-06Rated 4 out of 5 by StoneCat from Great traps BUT! I love these traps but the bait tray is too easy for the mice to clean off without being trapped. I bent the bait tray into a U shape and now I catch all the mice.Date published: 2016-10-26Rated 5 out of 5 by cathy54 from I love these mouse traps These are the only mouse traps I feel comfortable using. The are easy to bait, set, and clean up.Date published: 2016-09-05Rated 1 out of 5 by smith2 from They don't spring.!!!!!!! Ive tried many different baits and applications, either I have the smartest mice in the world or the traps are junk. They dont spring!!!!!!Date published: 2016-08-12
When I squeezed to set trap, the catch was bent and did not lock. What is that exterior wire for? I can't figure it out.The exterior wire is intended for packaging use only. To set the trap, first remove the metal wire from the back of the trap. Once this has been done, the trap can be squeezed and set in place.Date published: 2016-12-30
I bought a pair of the Victor Quick Set mouse traps several years ago. I could never set either of these traps successfully---so, I have never used them. I have used other traps for mice so- what did I do wrong?Squeeze the trap slightly showing the bait hook. Bait the trap using a small amount peanut butter or something sticky on the bait hook. To set, squeez the trap firmly until you hear a click and the trap locks in place. Then place the trap where you have seen the mice.Date published: 2016-11-11
Are the 12 traps with this order?Yes, this bundle includes 12 total traps.Date published: 2015-11-09
