Reviews for Victor® Quick-Set™ Mouse Trap

With my most recent battle of the mice, I’ve used classic wood Victor snap traps with the plastic bait plate, some easy set Tom Cat traps (do NOT work - need too much pressure to trip the trap), and these traps. These ones are, by far, the best. Easy to set. Minimal pressure required to to trip the trap. Easy to re-bait and re-set. Was away for a few days and returned home to a bunch of cleaned out traps. Set this new one down and within an hour, caught the mouse.

Recently bought a two pack of these traps since the store was stocked out of the old reliable wooden traps. Junk!!!! The first one broke when trying to bait it. The other just feeds the mice. Yes I baited the traps properly. Do not buy...save your money!

So like everyone else I fed the Mice the buffet before seeing the reviews... once I put the peanut butter on the bait circle under the upper snap part where it clearly says "bait" the trap (s) successfully killed 2 mice over night. I went 3 days previously just feeding them quality Peanut butter. Catching two mice is a bit worrisome as now I know there is more than the one.

Works for me - trap and kill, easy handling. I've used Victor traps of all kinds, this is nicely easy to set without accidently setting it off when placing. I like these for the hidden mechanics - in a shed I don't accidently set them off when something falls off a tool and hits it. You can dispose of the rodent without touching it and reset the trap in a flash.

They absolutely attract mice and catch them but they don't always kill. These traps are BREAKING MY HEART. I found two mice in the past three days stuck alive in the traps suffering and I can't bring myself to mercy kill them. Last winter a few were found alive by my dad but I asked him to stop telling me about it. I will never buy these again. They do not kill on contact. I am using them exactly as directed. I put cheese or peanut butter on the top in the little circle area and set them properly. The traps this time are brand new as of this fall and I have six of them. Two different traps have failed to kill so far. If you care about animal welfare, I don't recommend these. I'm going to try the Victor traps that electrocute instead.

Dear Victor, We wanted to let you know that we absolutely love the new mouse feeders. The old style that our human had would inexplicably collapse while we ate, which led to the untimely demise of many of our friends and family. This style, however, allows us to enjoy our meal without fear. The other day, when an accidental collapse DID occur, instead of a funeral, we enjoyed a bit of comedy as Greg ran around the bathroom with the trap stuck to his head while still munching on the peanut butter. He was totally okay when our human let him outside later, though he was a little shook up at first. WE would have given you five stars, but our human clicked on the one star instead (we're sure it was just accidental...right?). Keep improving the feeders! With love, The Mice

Don't recommend. Very difficult to reset trap. Can't figure it out.Waste of money. Going to return to Home Depot

It caught the little guy but wasn’t strong enough to kill it…. It’s in the garage now
