It works!!
This trap was the only trap that was actually catching mice in my house. We had tried everything. Got a couple of these and caught 16 mice in less than two weeks

Package says nothing about bait not provided. Nor is recommended bait listed. Disappointing.
Junk - does not work.

Junk - does not work. followed directions and put peanut butter of bait part. Peanut gone but trap didn't close. Worthless.

We are sorry to hear this! If you test the trap (carefully!) with a pencil or something similar, does it trip properly? If it does, try baiting the trap using only a small amount of peanut butter (just what fits on the end of a toothpick). By using a smaller amount, the mice are less likely to be able to quickly grab the bait and run without setting off the trap. With my most recent battle of the mice, I’ve used classic wood Victor snap traps with the plastic bait plate, some easy set Tom Cat traps (do NOT work - need too much pressure to trip the trap), and these traps. These ones are, by far, the best. Easy to set. Minimal pressure required to to trip the trap. Easy to re-bait and re-set. Was away for a few days and returned home to a bunch of cleaned out traps. Set this new one down and within an hour, caught the mouse.

Recently bought a two pack of these traps since the store was stocked out of the old reliable wooden traps. Junk!!!! The first one broke when trying to bait it. The other just feeds the mice. Yes I baited the traps properly. Do not buy...save your money!

Terrible! DID NOT KILL THE MOUSE!!!!! Mouse left alive struggling to get out! Had to drown it. DO NOT BUY!!!,

So like everyone else I fed the Mice the buffet before seeing the reviews... once I put the peanut butter on the bait circle under the upper snap part where it clearly says "bait" the trap (s) successfully killed 2 mice over night.
I went 3 days previously just feeding them quality Peanut butter.
Catching two mice is a bit worrisome as now I know there is more than the one.

Works for me - trap and kill, easy handling. I've used Victor traps of all kinds, this is nicely easy to set without accidently setting it off when placing. I like these for the hidden mechanics - in a shed I don't accidently set them off when something falls off a tool and hits it. You can dispose of the rodent without touching it and reset the trap in a flash.
