The compatible app distinguishes the Smart-Kill™ trap from other electronic traps by simplifying your pest control routine. It’s quick to set up and pair with your trap, and allows you to give unique names to your traps so you can easily identify them. Not only will the convenient app notify you of a catch, but it will also keep track of the total kills over the trap’s lifetime as well as monitor battery life.

Convenient Bait Door for Effortless Bait Application

With a built-in bait cup, you will know your trap is properly baited. Access the cup by opening the bait door located at the back of the trap. To get started, use a toothpick or cotton swab to apply a high protein bait such as peanut butter or hazelnut spread in the cup. Then place your trap in an area with high rodent activity and turn it on.

Q: How do I connect the trap to Wi-Fi?

A: Go to Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device. Select the trap, which is VICTOR following by 15 alphanumeric digits. Press “CONNECT”, then press the back button. Select the Wi-Fi network to connect the trap to. Enter the network password for the Wi-Fi network, then press the red “CONNECT” button. It may take up to 1 minute to connect. A notification appears when the trap successfully connects.

Product Questions

I can not tell if the WiFi trap is connected in the app for iPhone.
I powered the trap off and the information is the same.
How can I tell from the app that the trap is powered up and connected to WiFi?
Or does it push updates like battery power once a day....

The trap will communicate with the app once per day to reestablish conenction with the WiFi. It will not be communicating with the the trap any other time, unless it is giving a notification of a kill or battery alert.

Should the green light stay on when you turn it on? If not how do you tell it is on?

The light will not stay on, the app will send and alert if there is a loss of connection which indicates a loss of power.

My trap is labeling activity but not issuing shocks. The food is being taken and the rats are leaving behind a trail of stuff they bring in on their feet, but a week in I've had no kills. The trap is clean as well. Any idea how to correct? Or is this just a bum trap?

Yes. The trap is linked to an account. If the same account is used across multiple devices they will all receive alerts.

My trap will run through the setup right until it makes the final connection and won’t connect to the WiFi after I switch from it’s wifi back to my home network.
