Product Questions

Once enabled, can i leave it on until it caught rat? Or i should power off / on every day?
Question by: Patrick on Dec 29, 2021, 11:17 AM
We recommend keeping the unit powered on 24/7 for best results.
Answer by: Rachel Faust on Dec 29, 2021, 11:55 AM
Just purchased a trap. The green light is flashing continuously and and never buzzes. I have cleaned the bait area and bait door but to no avail, why?
Question by: David E. Fix on Oct 1, 2021, 5:34 PM
The green light should flash once when turned on. If the inside plates of the trap have been cleaned and this is still occurring, then the trap would need to be replaced. It has a one year replacement policy.

Can this product be used in an attic? I am worried about it being near the insulation.
Question by: Ken on Feb 4, 2022, 1:18 PM
This can be used in an attic. We recommend not placing it in or near flammable objects.
Answer by: Lauren Steiner on Feb 4, 2022, 3:58 PM
When I turn on the trap the green light flashes but it doesn't buzz. I set the trap out and when I checked it two days later the bait was gone and mouse/rat hair was inside the trap but no animal. Does this mean the electronic shock isn't working? What do I do to fix this?
Question by: Kim Ruiz on Jan 4, 2022, 7:23 PM
If the trap is flashing green when turned on, the trap is armed and ready. While the trap will often buzz as well, the buzz is fairly quiet and may be hard to hear if there is any background noise. It is important when using this trap, to make sure that the plates inside the trap are clean and free of any leftover bait and debris, as this could cause a false trip to the system, allowing the rodent to escape without a catch! The trap is backed by a 30 day return policy and a 1 year replacement policy. Please give us a call at 855-584-2867 for assistance.
Answer by: Rachel Faust on Jan 5, 2022, 8:24 AM
I just bought the Victor electronic rat trap at lowes. I used Victor bait. It appears the bait was licked but nothing was killed and no green flashing light. Is there a way I can test to see if it is zapping? Using a stick perhaps to weight the plate. Please let me know how I can verify that it is working.
Question by: Peter on Feb 6, 2022, 12:39 PM
When the trap is turned on, the green light will flash once, indicating it is ready for a catch. There are no other testing methods for the trap as we do not recommend attempting to activate the shock of the metal plates.
