Helpfulness
This is a finger breaker.
May 27, 2022
This is a finger breaker. They will not stay set. It is next to impossible to get the metal holder turned the correct way to hold
the plastic pedal. The plastic is slick and there is not enough friction to continually hold the metal piece in place. Save your fingers.

We're sorry to hear about that! Hold the trap vertically and make sure the yellow pedal is at about a 20 or 30 degree angle from the base, then set the trap by hooking the metal bar under the lip of the yellow pedal. If you hook the left side of the pedal, the trap will be easier to set but slightly more difficult to trip. If you hook the right side, the trap will be more difficult to set but slightly easier to trip. For the best accuracy and outcome, we recommend setting the trap somewhere between these two settings. Please feel free to give us a buzz at 855-584-2867 for additional assistance.

The problem with these traps is the metal bar slips on the plastic plate. Very rarely catches as two slick surfaces don’t work well together.

I’ve been using your brass pedal traps for years and I love them. Unfortunately the store only had the plastic pedal traps so I hot those. They are awful, very difficult to set, always go off while trying to set. I threw them away. Please make more brads pedals.

Frustrating to set but when you do set them they are strong enough to kill on impact unlike some of the other ones I have bought but it is nearly impossible to set it correctly first time and I have seen the videos I have read the instructions time and time again I don't need a comment saying how to do it, they dont set right I hope they fix this issue because I had to throw some out because they refused to set.

Not a good product
Dec 4, 2021
I purchased 12 of these. They are so tricky to set and have them stay. 7 of the 12 will not set at all. I would not recommend these at all!

I have never experienced such dissatisfaction with any product in my life than this “Easy Set” Mouse Trap! The new plate that supposed to set the trigger would not keep the kill bar from snapping before I could set it down. After it snapped twice on my finger I chucked it along with the other new one in the package in the trash. “Build a better mouse trap and the world will beat down your door”. Well, this is not it. At least with the old style I could set it and it would hold until I set in place. No stars was not an option or this would have had that honor.
Doesn’t even deserve one star!
