work great until battery dies when you replace battery ,will not work ,tried with other battery's ,still not working the solar work great till the plastic on top dulls

You can plainly hear them beeping even after being buried underground. I have 2 of them going off alternately. Dogs keep trying to dig them up because they are so annoying. Not impressed.

PRODUCT DID NOT WORK AS DIRECTED!!! FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS AND THE GOPHER CAME OUT OF THE WHOLE AND WAS SITTING BESIDE IT AS IT WAS BEEPING!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I WILL RETURN IT TO STORE.

They don’t work. I installed them correctly, I put them twenty feet apart. They are making noise but the gophers don’t mind them at all. In fact two out of four I installed have the gophers burrowing a foot away.

At first they worked great. One makes a beep frequently and keeps all away. One stopped beating (at least i cannot hear it clearly like the other) and squirrels seemed to appear. Not sure what issue is. Batteries are good. Waiting on replacement.

I have four mole and gopher Sonic spikes and two of them lasted less than 6 months, the other two lasted just over a year. Victor replace two of the spikes but again these lasted less than 6 months. There seems to be a problem with the seal around the top cover that goes over the LED panel because one of the spikes was completely filled with water the other was partially filled with water. I contacted Victor over this and I was told you should take them up when there is heavy rain, which I think is a little ridiculous as I'm not always here when it rains heavily to remove them. Also, no where in the operating instructions does it mention taking them up when there is heavy rain. It does say not to place them where flooding may occur. There does appear to be a problem with the sealing of the cover over the LED panel. Victor customer service did not respond to the problem. I was asked if I had the receipt. Unfortunately after a year, I have no idea where the receipt would be. Therefore they declined to replace two of them. When you first get these spikes they do appear to work but they don't have longevity and it does appear that the cover over the LED panel is not a very waterproof seal. Considering the cost of these spikes I would recommend that you think twice before buying them particularly, if you have to take them up every time this heavy rain.

I bought a pack of the Victor Gopher Sonic Spikes on 2/25/21 and placed them in my backyard garden area where I have had problems with gophers for over 2 years and nothing would stop them from returning to my yard. They were really chewing up my lawn area which I had just completed. I saw the info. online and wanted to give them a try, I had tried many other things with no real success so why not? They are easy to install. I placed them where my large yard would have the most coverage. Today is May 11 and I have had no signs of the gophers either in my garden area nor my lawn. First time in over two years! I have cats visit my yard from time to time, and one tried to dig up where I had placed a spike. This bothered me as I had just put them in, then I realized that they were really working because the cat thought he heard a gopher under ground and wanted to catch him but he only heard the noise that the trap puts out. You cannot hear them but animals can. Good product. I would recommend them to anyone who has a gopher problem. Ken from Downey, Calif.

I did have a couple stop working rather quickly, but they were replaced by customer service without issue. I find that they work on keeping the moles away as long as they are functioning. I have to agree with a previous comment they need to be better built electronics to be more durable to failure. It seems I have to go out and check them regularly otherwise the moles are back within a day of failure.

Have had 4 less than 6 months . Put new batteries in and they are inaudible. Even pulled out of the ground up to my ear and very faint beep. Not worth the 40 bucks a pair. Worked great for 3 months then I couldn’t hear them. Both pairs. I have 2 in the back yard and two in front. Can’t hear any of them now even with new batteries.
