Quickly eliminate mice with the humane, high voltage killing power of the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap. Featuring a sleek, simple design, this trap has a built-in bait cup and allows for easy setup and No-See, No-Touch™ disposal. To use, simply apply bait in the built-in bait cup, place the trap along the wall near signs of rodent activity, and turn it on.
Quick, Humane Kill
The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap uses smart circuit technology to deliver a humane, high-voltage shock, killing mice quickly. Once fully inside the tunnel, beveled columns keep the mouse in place over the plates, ensuring a 100% kill rate if used as directed with fully charged batteries.
No-See, No-Touch™ Disposal
To enter the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap, mice pass through a uniquely designed tunnel with beveled columns. These columns direct the mouse further into the tunnel and make it difficult to back out. The columns also help to keep the mouse in place over the trigger plate to prevent escapes, ensuring a 100% kill rate.
Innovative Safety Features
When it comes to safely eliminating rodent infestations, Victor® leads the way. Designed with Kill-Switch technology, this trap automatically shuts off when the kill chamber lid is opened. When the lid is closed, beveled columns inside the trap prevent children and pets from reaching in to touch the electrified plates.
I bought two of these. I put them in my garage. The mice have just been eating the bait with no kill. I had the previous generation of these and they worked much better, caught a lot of mice. The new design seems to be a dud. The previous generation made a buzzing noise when you turned the switch on, these don't.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that Victor® Electronic Mouse Traps are not performing as expected, especially since you had success with the previous generation.
The newer design does operate differently. Now, a green light will flash to indicate the unit has been enabled when turned on. However, the traps should still activate properly when a mouse enters and makes contact with the plates. If mice were able to eat the bait without triggering the trap, that is certainly not the experience we want for you.
Please note that your traps are covered by a 1-year warranty. Simply contact our customer support team at 855-584-2867, and we’ll assist you with troubleshooting or a replacement.
We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the design changes, and we will share your comments with our product team.

These traps are the best ...

These traps are the best thing I have ever used. I recommend these to all my family and friends that have dealt with mice issues. Less then 24 hours of putting these out, we have gotten 4 mice.
I bought one at Home Depot and it works great, kills quick without a mess and easy disposal. Great system. I was using a live-trap cage and letting them go miles from the house, but apparently they don't do well in the wild, especially in the winter. We were also starting to get overwhelmed out here in the woods, so I just ordered a 2-pack.
BEWARE! Victor changes their designs and makes traps that were purchased obsolete and does not carry refill chambers for the older ones. Yet the older models are still being sold by their retailers! I, over time, invested in 7 (prior to that I had 2 of the previous models) of model: Victor M250SSR-2 Indoor Electronic Humane Mouse Trap at a cost close to $200 - most recently 2 were purchased in Sept of 2024. Now I need them to work since Victor told me years ago that the electrodes can stop working with time (I had purchased refill chambers that were made by a different manufacturer that didn't work last night) - I'm ready to buy the more expensive chambers made by Victor and they no longer sell them! Yet, they tell me I can still possibly find the old models in some of their retail stores! I invested in these traps with the assumption that the product would be supported! What a waste of my money (and time!)! I liked the traps and told friends about them but I will no longer purchase from Victor - will find a more reliable manufacturer. At $25 a trap, I expect it to work beyond a few times (I wasn't using these continuously - and yes, the bait and batteries were both replaced when I did!) - they did work up to a point but I was sold on being able to replace the chambers when needed. I wouldn't buy a car if I couldn't replace the brakes, etc!!!! They represented this product as having replaceble parts! I wouldn't buy a printer if they didn't make ink cartridges for it!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap. We’re sorry for the frustration this situation has caused. We understand your concerns regarding model changes and the availability of replacement chambers, especially after investing in multiple units. Product designs can change over time, and not all components remain compatible across different generations.

The trap died with terrible ...

The trap died with terrible service. Kill 3, then stop working, unable to connect to the Wi-Fi. hard to get help to reconnect to Wi-Fi. No alternatives offered. and was sent to the store to return it because Victor did not provide a warranty. so disappointed
We’re really sorry for the frustration this caused and appreciate you sharing your experience. This model was discontinued over two years ago, and support for it is scheduled to end by the end of 2026. Because of that, we’re no longer able to offer a replacement, and warranty handling is done through the original retailer rather than directly through Victor.
That said, we understand how disappointing it is when a product stops working, especially due to Wi-Fi connectivity issues, and when support options feel limited. Your feedback about the lack of alternatives and the difficulty getting reconnected is valid and has been shared with our team.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We know this wasn’t the experience you hoped for, and we appreciate your honesty as we work to improve how we communicate product lifecycle and support expectations.

Bought 3, all faulty.

Bought 3, all faulty. I historically had much success with the prior generation of the Victor electronic traps and was disappointed when the local Home Depot stopped carrying them, so when the mice started coming indoors when the weather got cold, I was happy to buy the new version. The QA on these devices is abysmal. The 3 devices shipped to me properly charged but the lids closed poorly. None fit properly; it seems the plastic injection process isn't matching the pieces closely enough. By squeezing the base I got the covers to close and properly set the safety switch, and each device pulsed green showing properly charged. I didn't hear the telltale buzzing of the older devices which was the capacitor charging up, but I figured that was just normal in the new design. All three traps failed to shock mice. I know the mice came and went because there were fresh droppings on the metal contacts in each device and the bait was gone. None of the devices delivered a shock because the light was dark after the mice's meal time. I should have charged them for eating at Victor's Restaurant.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this must have been, especially given your past success with earlier models. What you described with the lid fit and lack of activation isn’t expected performance.
For proper operation, it’s important that the lid is fully closed so the safety switch is engaged, the metal contacts are kept clean and dry, and the trap is placed flat against a wall where mice travel. Even so, the results you reported indicate the traps may not be functioning as intended.
We’d like to help resolve this. Please contact us and our team will be happy to assist further.

It doesn’t work.

It doesn’t work. Bought today put brand new batteries in and it won’t stop blinking red. Changed to more new batteries and same thing. A waste of $25.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap. We’re sorry to hear about the issue. A blinking red light usually indicates the trap door is not fully closed or the metal plates inside are not making proper contact. Making sure the trap is closed firmly, the kill chamber is clean and dry, and the batteries are installed correctly can often resolve this.
If the light continues blinking and the trap is not functioning as intended, please contact us we’ll be happy to help.
Great product that really works! It's clean, humane, and easy to use if you follow the instructions.
There is, however, a design flaw in the new model. The hexagonal scent holes are way too large. The mice get their teeth in and chew right through. The bait is located right next to those openings so mice are not motivated to find the main entrance. The previous model had much smaller scent holes so this was never a problem. Also, the bait shelf is very narrow. There use to be a small depression like a cup which sat below the recent holes which was easier to fill. That being said, this is still the best choice for "a better mouse trap".
Thank you for your rating on the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap. We’re glad to hear it has worked well for you and appreciate the detailed feedback. Your comments about the larger scent holes, chew-through concerns, and the updated bait shelf design are very helpful and will be shared with our product team as we continue improving future models.

It was great, until it wasn't.

It was great, until the refill cartridges sold out. I should have kept and cleaned my old cartridges instead of throwing them away, but had no idea there were no more refills to buy.
We’re sorry to hear about the difficulty finding refill cartridges for the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap. Availability can vary by retailer, but the cartridges can be cleaned and reused by removing debris and wiping the interior with a damp cloth and hydrogen peroxide.
I have used your older model for a few years now - very effective trap. But you used to sell extra chambers, which was fantastic - I do not see these on the website anymore. Please add them again!!

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear the older model worked well for you. The new model M250B does not separate into two pieces, which is why extra chambers are no longer available for purchase. We appreciate your suggestion and will share it with our product team for future consideration.

The M250B trap will not separate from the electronics so I can clean the chamber. Please give detailed instructions. Pushing forward and backwards does not work. Thanks.
Question by: James Smith on Jul 9, 2025, 1:35 PM
Thank you very much for contacting us.
To separate and clean your M250B trap, please follow these summarized steps:
Turn the trap off and remove the batteries.
Hold the trap with the battery compartment in your left hand, buttons facing up, and the rodent entrance facing you.
With your right hand, push forward to separate the kill chamber from the electronics housing.
Open the disposal door and clean the chamber using hydrogen peroxide and an old toothbrush. Use a wire brush carefully if there's corrosion, avoiding damage to the zinc coating.
Dry thoroughly, then reassemble by aligning and sliding the parts back together.
If it continues to be difficult to separate, ensure there is no debris stuck in the seams.

Exactly where do you put the bait? Very hard to see where to put it!
Question by: Joanne on Jan 21, 2025, 11:03 AM
Hi, thanks for reaching out!
To bait the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap (model M250B), follow these simple steps:
Open the trap: Flip open the trap’s lid to expose the bait area.
Add the bait: Place a small amount of bait on the back part of the trap thru the holes using a toothpick inside the trap making sure not to touch the shock plate.
Close the trap: After adding the bait, close the trap securely. Ensure that it clicks into place and is locked properly.
Set the trap: Press the power button on the trap to activate it. You will typically hear a small sound or see a light indicating the trap is powered on.
Place the trap: Position the trap along walls or areas where you have seen mouse activity, as mice tend to travel close to walls.
Once a mouse enters the trap and contacts the sensor, the electronic mechanism will deliver a humane, quick, and lethal shock.
If you have any further questions or need additional tips, feel free to ask!

I see only one note referencing "fully charged batteries". I assume, therefore, that rechargeable batteries are permissible. Rechargeable batteries usually have a lessor voltage (1.25v) than Alkaline batteries (1.5v).Will this make the trap less efficient at killing mice or shorter functioning time?
Question by: Fred on Nov 21, 2024, 8:09 PM
Hello Fred, thank you for reaching out to us. Do NOT use rechargeable batteries in any of the electronic traps. The battery voltage of rechargeable is usually far lower than alkaline (1.2V vs. 1.6V per cell – for 4 batteries 4.8V vs 6.4V), they also tend to self-discharge at a faster pace. The trap’s ability to dispatch a Rodent is directly tied to the voltage of the batteries. A small reduction in battery voltage has a drastic effect on the trap’s output voltage. Therefore, when using rechargeable batteries the likelihood of compromising the trap performance is high.

The directions say when a mouse is caught the green light will flash for one week does that deplete the batteries very fast.? Thanks
Question by: James K on Nov 25, 2025, 11:32 AM
Yes, the longer the light remains on, the faster the batteries will drain.
