The Victor® PestChaser® Rodent Repeller effectively drives away rodents by emitting a high frequency sound that is unpleasant to them. The PestChaser® is easy to use – all you have to do is plug it in. This ultrasonic rodent repeller is a humane option for rodent control, and the ideal choice for homes with children and non-rodent pets.
Humanely Repels Rodents
The Victor® PestChaser® Rodent Repeller emits ultrasonic frequencies that send mice and rats scurrying. The device uses varying frequencies to prevent rodents from getting used to the noise and to keep them from returning. While the high-frequency noise is loud to rodents, it is safe for use around people and non-rodent pets when used as directed.
Mini Size, Maximum Coverage
Despite its small size, the Victor® PestChaser® Rodent Repeller offers mighty rodent protection. This plug-in repeller device is ideal for average-sized rooms including kitchens, bedrooms, attics, living rooms, and more. Ultrasonic frequencies can’t travel through walls, so use one PestChaser® per room you want to protect.
Built-in Nightlight
The Victor® PestChaser® Rodent Repeller comes equipped with a built-in nightlight that emits a soft glow. The gentle illumination is not only great for navigating around obstacles at night but also lets you know the device is working.
How Ultrasound Works
Humans typically can hear sounds between 20-20,000hz, however mice and rats can hear much higher frequencies. The PestChaser® is designed to emit noise at a frequency that creates an unfriendly environment for rodents to discourage infestation.

We are so sorry to hear about this experience and appreciate your feedback. For best results, attractants such as food should be kept out of the area. Additionally, keep in mind that the ultrasonic sound waves will not be able to penetrate obstructions such as furniture, so it is best to use them in an open area. Still dealing with mice having used Victor baits for a year.
If you are still encountering mice after only using these repellents, then additional steps to rid them, such as traps or baits, may be necessary to completely eliminate them. Reach out to us directly with any questions.

I use these because I moved into a 200 Yr old farm house that was vacant for ten years. There were an astounding amount of mice, rats, chipmunks, and bats. I dispise finding dead rodents in traps. Repelling is way better. I’m sure the chipmunks and rats are gone. The mice is now seldom and I’m about to test these on bats in the attic. I have very few electrical outlets in my house. It would be nice if this could still be used as an outlet so it doesn’t take up any.
Product states for indoor use. Can it be used inside garages or storage sheds?
Question by: Susan on Nov 25, 2025, 10:37 AM
Yes — the Victor® PestChaser® Rodent Repeller with Nightlight can be used in garages or storage sheds because those spaces are listed under the “For Use In” section on the official product page. Just make sure it’s plugged into a standard 110-V indoor outlet and kept away from large metal objects or shelving that could block the ultrasonic waves.

We bought a pestchaser rodent repeller and it comes with a p65 warning that the product can expose us to chemicals including lead. We are confused: we thought the mechanism of the device is that it emits radio waves. How might it expose us to lead, and at what is the level of exposure? We have a baby and are concerned. Thanks.

Hello Nitin Sekar, Units that have the Prop 65 warning on the product- The solder used on the micro board is not 100% lead-free. This is why the warning is on the product. It is not due to any component on the outside of the device.
