ABSOLUTELY THE CAT'S MEOW!

It is absolutely the CAT'S MEOW! They check-in but they don't checkout. The Multi-Kill Electronic Mouse Trap couldn't be easier or more sanitary. Just set it and forget it, a blinking light let's you know when you've had a kill, and it drops them into a drawer. When you do have a kill, you just switch the device off, pull the drawer out and dump it, not having to touch the disgusting disease-laden varmint. Then you just switch it back on for the next kill. IT SIMPLY COULD NOT BE EASIER OR MORE EFFICIENT!

Too soon to tell. Two hundred dollars in traps and so far only got one dead mouse. Mice are having a hayday and seem to be avoiding the bait.

Worked great for first month ...

Worked great for first month or two. After that, always malfunctions, repeats trying to dump the mouse when there isn’t one there and uses the entire battery overnight.

Works great, when it works.

Works great, when it works. Unfortunately, that's almost never. The fact that it runs on (expensive) batteries makes it nigh-unusable in an attic or cold cellar, since the batteries can't keep up with the temperature. Even brand new ones get too weak to make more than a single kill over the course of two days, after which the mice are just treating it like a free food supply. Even when used in warmer times or areas, I've not once had this item properly reset itself after a kill, and it's always forced me to open it up and manually reset the barrel, as it seems to catch on something on the way back. It also takes several attempts of rolling it back and forth to get it to stay in its proper position. I feel like this thing could've been made far better with a little bit of clever engineering, like using a capacitor to deliver the shock instead of batteries, and having it be plugged into a power supply or separate battery pack. Improving the mechanism of the barrel would certainly not be out of order either. Having had this thing for a month, on the whole, this trap is more commonly being treated as a very expensive feeding box for mice than it is an actual kill trap. Probably great for specific circumstances, but useless where the mice actually hang out. + Sometimes works great - Doesn't reset itself properly - Doesn't actually work at all if it's near or below 0C temps - Not for use in dusty, cold or moist areas. Y'know, like attics and cellars, where mice are usually a problem. Or garages. Or cold pantries. But hey, if you have problems with mice in your kitchen or living room, this thing's probably great!

We're sorry to hear about this experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with our team. When it comes to low battery life, cold temperatures will affect the battery performance before it will affect the trap itself. If the temperatures are cold, we recommend using lithium based batteries, as these will perform better at cold temperatures. The trap is covered under a 30-day return policy and a 1-year replacement policy. Simply give us a call at 855-584-2867 for assistance. - Rachel

Probably wouldn't buy again for the price and the inconsistency!

When it works, it's awesome but it's a 50/50. The first night, I caught nothing then the second night I caught 6 mice, the next night nothing, then the next I caught 2 more then last night nothing. It's also extremely picky about the batteries. It almost always takes 2-3 times of turning it on then off and opening the battery compartment then trying again until I get it to stop the red light from blinking. Oh, I've only had this trap for 1-2/3 weeks now.

Absolutely LOVE this multi-kill zapper!

Absolutely LOVE this multi-kill zapper! I have chickens that use an old garage for an indoor run during the winter. Every year, the mice take over and it’s difficult to get the population under control. Not anymore! I got four mice in one night with this fabulous contraption! Was so surprised to see a half-filled disposal bin after just one night. No more stolen bait and one-mouse-zappers for this gal…I just bought three more for my other buildings. The only drawback for me is the way this baby eats the batteries in winter weather. But honestly, it’s still worth it knowing that it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you use yours in a house, basement, or insulated area, I would wager your batteries would last longer.

Great! when it works.

I love these multi-trap killers. They work great, when they work. But I seem to need to buy one every year. There is a malfunction in it after about 4 months. Since my mice are seasonal, and only come indoors when it's rainy (4 months in CA). It works out. I wish these were more reliable. Still keeps my home safe from Mice.

Placed trap in the attic ...

Placed trap in the attic (where the mouse are!) Dry room, but not heated. Trap works great, but stops working around +5 deg Celcius (41 F): Light blinks slowly Red. It is NOT the batteries, because I can place fresh warm batteries in the trap, and turns it on: Still Red Slow red Flashing Light. To test if the trap work: Open the Kill room: Hold down the safety switch gently: Take a pair of isolated Plier to hold a wet cotton thread between two of the metal plates: You can hear the kill procedure starting, after a while the vault will rotate to indicate that the Trap thinks it has killed a mouse. Below temperature approx 5 C, this does not work any more, so the trap will not catch any mouse! What bothers me, is that NOWHERE does the documentation state the lowest temperature where the trap will work! If you are in a warmer climate than me, the trap works great, if not: It does not work. I am an electronic engineer, and the product can indeed be designed to work even below 0 deg C (below 32 F). A pity it doesn't!
