What is the shelf life of Mole & Gopher Gasser, Model No. M6004 (there is no "B" on my model #). The active ingredients are Sodium Nitrate, Sulfer and Charcoal. Mfg Date is March 2002. Thank you, Scott
Question by: Scott on May 11, 2025, 3:29 PM
Hi, thank you so much for your question! There is no expiration date for the product, and the "B" is just a change in the model number—the components are the same.

Can I use in cattle pasture? And if so how long before cattle can graze again.
Question by: John Berg on Jun 18, 2025, 9:22 PM
Hi, thank you for reaching us. The product may only be used in non-crop areas including residential lawns, golf courses, reforested areas, open fields, and rangeland. As long as the gasser stick has completely burned, there is no access to remnants of the burnt gasser, and the smoke is clear, the area is accessible for people and animals.

How long does it take for the gas to dissipate before it’s safe for pets and humans?
Question by: Kathy on Dec 1, 2025, 12:06 AM
The Victor Quick‑Strike Mole & Gopher Gasser releases its gas underground and burns out fairly quickly. Once the fumigation has finished — when smoke and odor have dissipated — the treated area is generally considered safe for pets and humans.
