Victor® Rodent Killer is an effective rodenticide that eliminates rodent pests, including rats, mice, and meadow voles. The palatable bait formula easily attracts rodents and keeps them coming back until they’ve ingested a lethal dose, making it a quick solution for infestations of any size. The fish-flavored bait is easy to use and comes ready for application. Simply open the bag and place the bait balls where you’ve noticed signs of rodent activity or place in tamper-resistant bait stations.
Attracts & Kills Rodents
Victor® Rodent Killer bait balls are fish-flavored and made of high-quality ingredients that rodents find incredibly palatable, so it’s easy to attract them out of their hiding spots. The poison bait is designed to encourage rodents to eat until they’ve consumed a lethal dose. Whether you’re facing a large infestation or several smaller ones, Rodent Killer bait balls are capable of efficiently eliminating rats, mice, and meadow voles.
Weather-Resistant Formula
Most rodenticides cannot withstand outdoor conditions and quickly lose their ability to eliminate pests. Victor® Rodent Killer is effective both indoors and outdoors thanks to its weather-resistant formula. Place in wet or dry areas without having to worry about rain or other conditions. For best results, place the bait balls inside tamper-resistant bait stations or use as a spot treatment in locations out of reach of children, pets, and non-target wildlife.
How to Use
Apply bait in locations out of reach of children, pets, domestic animals, and non-target wildlife, or place inside tamper-resistant bait stations. Place bait at regular intervals in common rodent areas, such as along walls, between floors and walls, or in locations where signs of rodents have been seen. Monitor rodent activity for 10-15 days while providing an uninterrupted supply of bait. Keep baiting until there are no new signs of feeding or activity.

It is a slow killing product. Had a building infestation with a nest under my sink. Put product down several times. Noticed that the mice were now moving slow and found several dead over a week period.
I highly recommend this product because it is easy to use. Not is it only easy to use, but it is highly effective as well!!! 1/2 of a 4 lb. bag was enough to cover every corner of my home, or where I noticed mouse ???? activity.
I found a rat's nest in my shed, so got these pellets. I put 20 in a small bowl, and the next morning they were gone. Refilled with another 20, and they must be tasty, as they were gone the nest morning. Added 20 more, and I had 15 left. Quick math: It takes about 45 pellets to kill a rat.
I had noticed rodent activity in my yard this year. After a few weeks started to see more. Baited traps worked for a short time until the Rats got wise to it. Then I could see them actually avoiding them. I then purchased 2, 4lb bags of Victors Rodent Killer; followed the instructions for baiting and after 5 days started seeing a notable decline. Neighbors were spotting dying rats in their yards as well, and I have not seen a rodent now for a few days!! Hopefully this will be the end of it!
I have a vole problem for years. I decided to give this a try. The voles seem to eat in in abundance, and am more than generous adding the pellets daily to all the areas they live in. However after 10 days I do not see any slow down in voles, it seems they eat it faster than before and I am concerned it is attracting more voles rather than killing them. I don't this it's potent enough to kill the voles, but seems safest for other wildlife. Since it didn't achieve my goal, I do not recommend.
I have used this product for about 2 weeks I watched the rat come and take every pellet that I had out there almost 300 of them he took them away into his den I know he's the only rat in the den and I see him running around still this day so as far as I'm concerned it does not work and how I prove that I had the right caught a couple days later in a trap and I fed him that stuff for three or four days and he's still happy as a peacock so your product does not work as far as I'm sorry
saw the same reports pellets were going fast and but not the mice well a week and a half later found 5 dead mice and who knows how many elsewhere. even if the mice stored the pellets the pellets will still be there for the next pest. Happy with product. i also placed pellets properly so pets could not get into them. sorry about boone...........
Nowhere on the bag did it warn that it was fish flavored and that my dog would all but break his neck trying to get to the bait no matter where it was put which was always away from him he's never gone near mouth poison. I don't know if he ate a poisoned mouse or got into the poison but we took him to the vet and they gave him the medicine to counteract it and he died. It's killed my dog
I beg your forgiveness for my previous review complaining that the poison had disappeared over four days but the mice didn't. I should have given it MORE TIME! After day 5 the mice are ALL GONE! You should warn your customers that it takes more than 4 days to be effective.
I have a colony of rats living in the crawlspace between the downstairs apartments & the upstairs. Not sure how many are living there. Over the last six weeks I have put out between 1.5 - 2 lbs of your rodent killer. They will carry most of it off then start burying the rest with lint & other found items perhaps to hide it from rival gangs or paying homage to me I don't know. I guess the problem is that they are foraging outside & my neighbor's (who I don't have regular contact) apartments. I have maintained an open supply as we have no pets but I don't believe that any have perished. Please help!

Hi, thank you so much for the information! Actually, this product's information states that the amount needed to kill a mouse or rat will vary based on how much they eat and their size. It’s a multi-feed active ingredient, meaning the rodent must feed multiple times before it will kill, so it may take a few days.

I have placed a great deal of these pellets throughout my garage and basement laundry area, can breathing them in cause health issues. I don't per say " smell them" when I'm doing laundry but figured I should ask. Thanks

Respiratory protection is not required during normal handling of the pellets. If you notice any symptoms while using the product, discontinue use immediately. Please also note that bait stations are mandatory for outdoor, above-ground use to ensure safe handling and application.

Hi, I’ve been using this product probably a week now and I put the bait where I usually see rat droppings every morning I get up and I look and I see all the bait is gone for a week straight so that means the rats haven’t died yet. do you know how long it takes to kill rats that are constantly eating this product And still coming back for more. I placed more than 20 pellets out there and they’re all gone when I get up.
Question by: Fran on Jul 20, 2025, 10:35 AM
Hi, thank you so much for your question. This is a multifeed product, meaning rodents need to eat it multiple times before it takes effect. How long it takes depends on how much they eat and their size. Also, there may be multiple rats coming and going.
