Victor® Power-Kill™ Mouse Trap

Whether you've just spotted your first mouse or are in the middle of an ongoing rodent battle, Victor® Power-Kill™ Mouse Traps help stop the problem in a snap. Thanks to a large food trough and a one-click setup, the Power Kill™ trap is easy to bait and set. Once the mouse jostles the trigger pedal, the High-Impact Kill Bar™ swiftly closes, ensuring a quick, humane kill. The oversized trip pedal is more easily activated that standard pedals, ensuring higher catch rates.

Simple to Use

Simple to Use

For your convenience, the Power-Kill® is extremely easy to use. The built-in bait trough keeps the bait neatly contained, and its large size makes it easy to load with peanut butter or other tasty substances. Plus, setting is easy as just one click! Simply pull back on the High-Impact Kill Bar™ until you hear a click, and you're ready to go. You can place the Victor® mouse trap anywhere you notice rodent activity or along a wall where mice typically travel.

Swift, Effective Kills

As soon as the mouse steps on the trip pedal, the powerful, High-Impact Kill Bar™ immediately snaps closed, bringing about a quick end. Afterward, the one-step spring action lets you easily remove the rodent without touching it and without worrying about accidental snaps.

Swift, Effective Kills
Large Trip Pedal

Large Trip Pedal

The Power-Kill™ Mouse Trap enhances the classic snap trap design by adding an oversized trigger plate to ensure higher catch rates. The expanded size means it can be easily activated both by rodent interest in food and through accidental contact as mice scamper across the floor. More often than not, if you have a mouse - you have mice, so you can use these mouse traps more than once. After you've discarded your catch, simply reset and reuse.

I’ve tested over 100+ mousetraps and have been fond of this one. It is ideal for ease of use and killing power. Now I will say if your looking for the most powerful snap trap I would go with the classic wooden snap trap victor makes. Overall I recommend this product to anyone looking to catch some mice.

The trap is easily set, and when it works it does very well. However, about half the time I find the bait (peanut butter) gone from the trap without it being tripped. I suppose with enough times setting it I'll eventually get the mouse it missed, but I expected this to work pretty much all the time.

Oh man, this trap is lethal! It is a great design and easy to set. To be honest, I have had great results with all of the Victor mouse traps that I have used over the years. Stick with this brand folks!!

Glue traps?

Glue traps? Forget it the mouse wriggles free. Wooden snap traps don't always spring and forget those silly plastic things with serrated teeth. But the Power Kill? Deadly each time. I tried everything until a buddy who owns a greenhouse business suggested these. Tie a string onto the trap to 'reel' it in. My bait of choice (and the mice just 'die' for it) is fill the round well with peanut butter and stick a raisin into the center. The next morning the mouse has the bar on it's neck and it's front teeth sunk into the raisin. Be careful though. The trap is sensitive and once set it has to be placed carefully on the floor or a jarring will spring it. I have never had these fail. After each kill I wash the trap with dishwashing soap and hot water. Mice aren't stupid by any stretch of the imagination and can become trap shy depending upon which type of trap you use (like glue pads). I feel the washing cleans not just the well of the trap but the scent of the previous victim.

Caught well over 100 mice ...

Caught well over 100 mice with these traps and they are the best of all the brands I've tried. Why do I love this Victor Power-Kill, let me count the ways: These traps don't torture the mice, they smack them down and knock them out, it is rare to find a near kill in these traps, these traps or omnidirectional so I catch mice facing the trigger platform and also who have crawled through the backway, these traps are not expensive and each trap has lasted long enough to kill dozens of mice so I've found them to be very durable too. If you have a mouse problem, buy some of these and get trapping. Sorry about your mouse problem, good luck! -Jeff

Victor made a better mouse trap when they invented the 393. Then they changed the design. They are not as effective as the other ones. I bought them on Amazon and though the picture looked the same that is not what I received.

We're sorry to hear you didn't see the success that's typical of this trap. Overbaiting can inhibit the trap's ability to trigger, and we recommend using a small amount of peanut butter as the best bait. Please contact us at 855-584-2867 with any questions!
Easy to set and resuable.

Easy to set, easy to empty, and reusable. I bait mine with a single shelled peanut that I "Hot Glue" into the bait hole on trip pedal. I was able to catch 5 mice on one peanut before have to replace the bait.

I put 6 of these down on Friday at work and the mouse ate all the peanut butter out of all of them. So I feed mice this weekend. What can I do to fix this?
Question by: Robin on Sep 2, 2025, 8:47 AM
Thank you very much for contacting us. It would be our pleasure to assist you.

To improve the effectiveness of the traps, please make sure to use a pea-sized amount of peanut butter. It is also important to wear gloves during setup to avoid transferring human scent to the trap. Additionally, ensure that no debris is touching the trap and that the trap is properly set for optimal performance.
Answer by: Karla (Admin) on Sep 2, 2025, 2:57 PM
My traps were set correctly. All 6 traps did not have any peanut butter left. I would like some help.
