The Victor® PESTCHASER® PRO emits high frequency ultrasound that effectively repels rodents. The PESTCHASER® PRO is ideal for use in large sized rooms, kitchens, garages, attics and basements. To keep rodents from becoming accustomed to the sound, The Victor® PESTCHASER® PRO emits ultrasound at varying volumes (peaking at 100dB) and varying frequencies (ranging from 32 to 62 kHz). With over 80 oscillations per second, this rodent repeller sounds like a jackhammer to mice and rats. The non-repetitive volume and frequency levels cause discomfort and an unfriendly environment that discourages rodent infestations.
Since the sound is inaudible, a red LED light tells you the unit is working properly. Reduction in rodent activity should occur within 6-10 days. Estimated service life of the unit is 3-5 years.
It's kinder than traps, safer than poisons when used as directed, and there are no dead rodents to dispose of so it minimizes human contact with mice, rats, and other disease-bearing rodents.
Note: Ultrasonic sound cannot penetrate furniture, cabinets or walls. Multiple units required for multiple rooms. Use one PESTCHASER® PRO unit per room and place in an open area.
How To Use It:
The Victor® PESTCHASER® PRO is easy to use and is ideal for large sized areas like kitchens, garages, attics and basements.
- Locate an open area to place the PESTCHASER® PRO
- Plug the PESTCHASER® PRO into the lower socket of a 110V-AC wall outlet
- Clear all surrounding objects away from the PESTCHASER® PRO
- Turn on the optional LED light (the light mimics the ultrasound pulsating from the unit)
- Then just sit back, relax, and forget
Reduction in rodent activity should occur within 6-10 days. You will only need to use one PESTCHASER® PRO per large size area; but please note that ultrasound does not travel through walls or furniture so please clear all surrounding objects obstructing the PESTCHASER® PRO. For ultimate rodent control, add one PESTCHASER® PRO to each room or area in which you see signs of rodent activity.
How exactly does it work? By sending out high-frequency ultrasound that the pests find very distressing, the PestChaser® “encourages” them to flee the scene. To the rodents, the ultrasonic sound devices are loud and stress-inducing, while undetectable to the human ear. To keep rodents from becoming accustomed to the noise, the Victor® PESTCHASER® PRO varies the volumes and frequencies it emits.
In order to be truly effective, a pest control effort needs to use several different tools and methods. First, rid your space of rodents using one of the many solutions offered by Victor®; whether your preference is snap, electronic, live, or poisons, there is a solution to fit your needs. After the rodents are eliminated, use the Victor® PESTCHASER® PRO to repel and keep them away.

Recently I needed some electrical work done because one of my cameras for my home security system went blank. The electrician who fixed my problem informed me that mice in my attic were chewing on the wires and had completely chewed through the camera's wires. He suggested I get ultrasonic units to keep my attic clear of the critters. Then earlier this month I had a cable guy fix my ethernet wires in my attic and he told me the same thing! After thorough research I found that the PestChaser Pro was the best item for my needs. My attic is separated in 3 separate sections, so with the Buy 2 get 1 Free promo I was able to put 3 units in each section of my attic. Installation was simple with the 6 foot cords on each unit, just got me some heavy duty extension cords to place the units. I like the pulsating frequencies and the two large speakers on each unit. No more critters and the sound of scurrying feet coming from my ceiling. Feel bad for my neighbors because I'm sure I chased all my critters to their houses.Date published: 2016-05-16Rated 5 out of 5 by old lady with dogs from relief human I have had this approx. 2 wks for 1, and then I got another one a week later. If it sounds like a "jackhammer" to rodents then why does it take 6-10 days to see a decrease in activity? I would think it would be immediate. Each individual rodent may have their own tolerance levels as to what they find disturbing, which is why it can take a few days for them to be driven away. Also, if rodents have an established nest or food source, it may take time for them to relocate.Date published: 2016-03-22
More of a comment tan a question. I purchased the Pestchaser from a local hardware store. I set a mouse trap not two feet from the chaser. That was yesterday, this morning I have a dead mouse in the trap!? Thought they wouldn't come around?Thank you for this feedback. It is important to keep in mind that it can take 6-10 days to begin to see a reduction in the rodent activity when the unit is plugged in.Date published: 2016-03-22
I have ferrets. Will this product affect them?It can possibly affect the ferrets. We would recommend that they not be in the same room as the Pest Chaser®Date published: 2016-03-01
Our intent is to use it in the crawlspace under the house were rodents burrow into the floor insulation. It's an open space but needs to penetrate the fiberglass insulation that they damage overhead. Will it work in those conditions? We do apologize that we cannot using the Pest Chaser in this setting. The sound will not penetrate through any solid objects.Date published: 2016-03-01

What is the electrical power consumption of your PestChaser Pro unit? I could not find this information on the packaging or your website. Thanks. You mean "2 Watts"- a unit of POWER. "2 watts per hour" is a unit of ENERGY in this case 2 Watt-hours,Date published: 2016-02-01
do these work on batsThe PestChaser® is designed to repel mice and rats. It has not been tested on bats.Date published: 2016-01-28
Why do I have to use the lower socket? What's the ideal height placement? Since soft items absorb & hard items reflect it & using ideal placement (corner & near entrance of room), could it be secured to wall/ceiling (w/o hardware overlay on speakers)? We recommend using a lower socket to ensure that the unit is not inadvertently turned off using a light switch. For best results, we suggest placing the PestChaser® where rodent activity is detected, most often along the floor. We do not recommend mounting this product to a wall.Date published: 2016-01-31
Victor® PestChaser® Ultrasonic Rodent Repellents - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does the ultrasound affect animals?
A: The PestChaser® emits ultrasound at varying volumes (peaking at 100dB) and varying frequencies (ranging from 32 to 62 kHz) well above the range of hearing for humans and non-rodent pets like cats, dogs, birds and fish. We do not recommend using the PestChaser® around rodent pets like gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and other rodent pets.
Q: How much area does the PestChaser® cover? / Does the ultrasound penetrate through walls?
A: The PestChaser® unit can only cover the room in which it is installed. The ultrasonic waves cannot penetrate walls or furniture so we recommend using multiple units per room. We recommend using the Mini PestChaser® in average sized rooms like kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms. We recommend using the Heavy Duty and Ultra PestChaser® in large sized rooms like attics, basements, garages, etc.
Q: Where should I plug the PestChaser® in? / Can I plug the PestChaser® into an extension cord? / Can it be used outside?
A: For proper placement of the PestChaser®, first identify a room that has signs of rodent activity. Plug the PestChaser® into the lower socket of a 110V-AC wall outlet. The ultrasonic waves cannot penetrate walls or furniture. Ultrasound is reflected by hard surfaces and absorbed by soft surfaces. In a room with mostly hard surfaces, like a kitchen, ultrasound will “bounce” around giving more effective coverage. The ideal placement would allow the ultrasound to cross in front of an entrance way. The PestChaser® can be plugged into an extension cord as long as it is placed in an open area along the wall and not near walls or furniture. The Victor® PestChaser® is recommended for indoor use only. They were designed and manufactured to be used indoors and not exposed to the elements. If this PestChaser® is used outside, the unit could potentially short out due to weather conditions, such as rain.
