Get rid of destructive moles and protect your yard with this durable, weather-resistant mole trap. As the professional’s trap of choice, the Victor® OUT O'SIGHT® Mole Trap is backed by years of proven field results.
The trap effectively kills moles without the use of chemicals or poisons. The OUT O'SIGHT® Mole Trap features metal jaws for superior strength and durability (setting levers are included).
It comes fully assembled and with a sure-fire design for use in any soil type and is ideal for sandy soil. Additionally, the OUT O'SIGHT® trap is equipped with a safety clip for secure operation. Each trap comes with illustrated operating instructions on setting and placement.
Ideally, this mole trap should be placed into the tunnel and covered with dirt. It is because of this placement that traps works best for moles, since their natural instinct is to reopen the tunnel. In clearing the tunnel, they will push up on the trigger, releasing the powerful trap.
Spring is the best time to trap moles because newly-made surface tunnels are easy to spot. However, moles can be trapped during any season except in very cold or dry weather.

I should have returned these last year when I bought them. Victor changed the material to a cheap metal instead of the effective cast iron they used to be. I have two old cast irons and two new ones and the new ones can barely cut through the dirt when triggered. This style of trap works great but they have to be the older style so until Victor figures out try looking for used ones.

The current design uses a lighter metal construction to make setup and operation easier, but we understand your concern about performance compared to older cast iron models. To ensure proper function, make sure the trap is placed in an active tunnel with firm, level soil and that the trigger plate is in full contact with the tunnel floor. As many before have mentioned, these traps used to be beafy and got the job done, the new dumbed down design ruined a great product.
All the excuses by the Victor reply is just lies to build a cheap, less effective product, what a shame this was done and double the shame they use canned respoes we all now is BS

We have used these traps for years in our professional pest control business. The new springs and aluminum jaws are terrible. This used to be the best mole trap on the planet, now we are searching for an adequate replacement. DO NOT BUY!!!!

I have always used these traps. Just bought 2 more and they aren't like they used to be. The spring tension is weak. I can squeeze it to set it without having to use the tongs things that come with it. Very disappointing.

As a nusciance trapper I have always relied on victor for my business. I recently bought some new oops mole traps to replace my old ones and was shocked to see the light weight,weak spring piece of junk they were now selling. They should be ashamed. It will not even close in good soil.

I'm a contractor who used to use the Out O Sight traps exclusively for moles. They were one of the few traps that worked and most professionals were using them. Then a couple years back something changed. The springs became weak and useless. These traps will NOT work to trap moles and are a waste of money. The professional are switching to different traps now. The only thing caught in these traps now are poor gullible homeowners.

I have an old set of out o'sight traps that were given to me. they were pretty rusty, but they still functioned. I wanted to get them to be like new again, so I took one and soaked in vinegar for 2 days. It worked well and down to bare metal. I dried it off and now have it in my oven at 350 to get it completely dry and moisture-free. My question is what should I do to avoid forming rust? I thought about a thin layer of unscented coconut oil. Hoping that it would not keep moles from approaching. Any advice? Thank you. These traps are great!

Coconut oil is effective for a short-term solution to rust, but for a long-term solution, dedicated rust preventative oils or coatings are preferred.
