We bought the three pack, and had a very similar experience as Meg. First night, nothing. We had only set out two in our kennel, but the second night we saw some action. One trap had five, and the other had four. It been about a week now, and we've lost count. We're also using peanut butter, and it's working perfectly. Now we know why our cats had a hard time keeping up.They may be a bit disappointed.Date published: 2016-02-05Rated 5 out of 5 by meg747 from best buy Ive ever made 1st night nothing, second night 12 then 10 on the next night,, I used peanut butter and it works great.. Easy to use and started catching mice immediately. It even fries roaches when they go in. And no mess to clean up. Just dump out and set back in place. And the batteries are cheaper than keeping a cat around!Date published: 2015-09-29Rated 1 out of 5 by Rainebo from Hasn't caught even one! Have had this product for three weeks now. Followed all directions and tips for baiting and put three traps down in various locations of my home where mice have been spotted. Was really hoping to catch at least a couple in the first week. Three weeks in and nothing has been caught even though I still hear them. One of the areas I know they are in the trap sits empty. So disheartened by this product. I have moved them per people's suggestions to no avail. Feel extremely ripped off!Date published: 2015-09-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Gotrader from Quite but deadly Works great, caught our first mouse. Dumped it in the box for me to empty later. No mess, no fuss. The Perfect Mouse Trap We live in a rural area in NH and have been plagued by the small white footed mouse. They had been here before we purchased this house. We tried several different traps including the standard snap trap with no luck of eradicating them. I do not like poisons or glue traps. I have several dogs. I purchased this product and put them out in several areas of known 'mouse' locations. One of which is under the kitchen sink. The first try resulted in 5 mice kills there! My husband informed me there was a way they were coming up from the basement along the pipes. My in-laws also used these traps, I was informed after my purchased, with much success in their home near Miami. I will suggest this trap to everyone who is looking for a way to get rid of mice. It just wasn't working for us with any other brand. Very easy to use, can catch multiples, and I think it results in quick kill.Date published: 2015-08-01

Victor® Multi-Kill™ Electronic Mouse Trap - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I bait the Multi-Kill™? / What should I use to bait it?
A: To bait the Multi-Kill™ Mouse Trap, first make sure the trap is turned off. Open the kill chamber door located on top of the mouse trap. We’ve carefully researched and recommend baiting with anything high in protein like peanut butter or hazelnut spread. Place a small amount of bait (the size of a pea) against the back wall of the kill chamber. Be sure to use gloves or a tool to bait so your scent is not transferred onto the trap. Please don’t place the bait or any other material directly on the metal plates as this will falsely trip the system.
Q: Can it be used outdoors?
A: The Multi-Kill™ is recommended for indoor use only. This trap was designed and manufactured to be used indoors and not exposed to the elements. If this trap is used outside, the unit could potentially short out due to weather conditions, such as rain.
Q: How long does the battery last?
A: The batteries in the Multi-Kill™ mouse trap will provide approximately one year of stand-by power. The trap includes 4 "C" batteries.
