Victor® Quick-Strike™ Mole & Gopher Gasser is incredibly easy to use. The gasser has no fuse. Instead, it offers self-ignition feature meaning no lighter is necessary. To use, simply ignite the gasser by striking it like a match against the cap, then place it in active tunnels.

Long Burn Time

For added effectiveness, this gasser has a long burn time, so you can be sure your pest problem is resolved. In addition, the gasser stick will light every time because it’s waterproof and windproof, allowing it to stand up to the elements so you can protect your property in any weather.

How to Use

How to Use Quick-Strike™

Quick-Strike™ is not your average gasser. It’s been designed with ease of use in mind. Follow these quick and easy steps to take back your yard from destructive burrowing pests.

  1. Read the specific guidelines on packaging for your target animal.
  2. Find an active tunnel and clear one opening. Make the hole large enough to insert the gasser. Ensure all other tunnel openings are sealed.
  3. Remove the top lid to expose the scratch surface on the cap. Twist and remove the inside cap to expose the black button.
  4. Then, gently press the black button against the scratch sticker on cap and strike it quickly away from your body.
  5. Insert the gasser stick into the hole with the lit end first. Immediately cover the hole with rock, soil, or other nonflammable materials without smothering the cartridge.

I used these years ago to get rid of a woodchuck infestation on my farm. They worked great! Recently at a new farm, in the middle of a sea of soy beans and corn fields around me for miles, I discovered rats in my horse barn, feed room. Even though I keep the floor swept, I always know mice are around, but never had rats! I had seen holes in the ground, near the barn in the adjacent pasture. Too small for woodchucks. NOW there's holes going under this barn and I've been catching rats in the single rat traps and a have a heart live trap. I'm sick of the hassle! I'm going to BUY THE GAS BOMBS, AND PUT ONE IN EVERY HOLE! The only thing I hate about this is the SMELL lasts for a long time and you can taste it after leaving the area, even days after using them. But they really, really work well! I'm not sure if you should use them during the day or at night? Please advise me WHEN RATS ARE IN THEIR DENS SO I CAN BOMB THEM WITH BEST RESULTS! My grandfather used to fill up the entrance of their holes with Quick -Crete cement mix, mixed up with cornmeal. THEY ate it up trying to dig their way out and some were found dead, after digging their way out of the closed hole. I want to know WHAT THE GAS IS THAT IS USED IN YOUR BOMBS! PLEASE COMMENT BACK TO ME! THANKS ????

Yes, the fumes may be harmful if inhaled. Keep pets (and humans) away from the area until the fumes disperse.

I have one that will not light with your ignition cap. What is plan B? Toss it?

Can I use in cattle pasture? And if so how long before cattle can graze again.

Hi, thank you for reaching us. The product may only be used in non-crop areas including residential lawns, golf courses, reforested areas, open fields, and rangeland. As long as the gasser stick has completely burned, there is no access to remnants of the burnt gasser, and the smoke is clear, the area is accessible for people and animals.

What is the shelf life of Mole & Gopher Gasser, Model No. M6004 (there is no "B" on my model #). The active ingredients are Sodium Nitrate, Sulfer and Charcoal. Mfg Date is March 2002. Thank you, Scott
