Long time user of your product, your mouse trap are excellent item to be used in northern Nevada where early spring and throughout the summer we have a rodent problem throughout our garages, backyards, and garden.
I've always purchase your product in a 12 pack, but before using them I open up the sheet metal part slightly, so I can put some cheese and or peanut butter underneath it and it stays more secure that way, just the suggestion.

Wish I had bought tried and true trap first. Tried the new version with the yellow plastic tray with zero success over a week. Set one of these out and immediately killed the mouse that had been raiding my countertop. Trap works great.

I previously purchased a dozen of your mouse traps with the plastic pedal that worked fine however, yesterday I opened a new box of a dozen traps and , to my dismay was disappointed with the product as it had the metal pedal trigger.
It's almost impossible to set it safely with out lopping off one's finger !
I am very dissapointed and frustrated with the design.
The plastic pedal / trigger worked fine.
Now I am stuck with a dozen traps that are almost impossible to set safely !

The trip mechanism was so tight the mice stole the bait without tripping it. They licked all the strawberry jam off the trip pan without setting it off. Threw the traps away instead of leaving them out as a feeding station.

Had to give it 1 star. But this mouse trap doesn’t deserve it. Worst product I’ve ever seen.

Metal bait platform is incredible!!! I refer to a mouse snap trap. This ,in my opinion is the worst product of ALL TIME !!! You should not need a tutorial to use a mouse trap. It’s so bad that I have a hard time believing it.

I have not bought a Victor mouse trap in at least 10 years but holy hell it should not go off by itself being so cheaply made. Get made in America with your cheap Chinese quality. The mousetrap board contraption itself is a lot thinner and smaller than it used to be. It's being held down by ground down metal tabs which causes it to go loose even quicker. And like I said at the very beginning. I set the mousetrap, I put it on the floor with spray on bait. And the damn thing went off by itself literally like a minute after placing. holy cheap shit China.

I used to catch them all with the plastic pedal, now I am just feeding them and have a bigger problem. Looking into other brands but they were always disappointing too.
