Do the mice die in the trap. Can it get out of the trap to die ?This is a bait station, not a trap. The mice will eat the bait and will either die in the station or somwhere else around the area.Date published: 2016-11-11
Do the mice die in the trap or go outside looking for water. We need mice control for a summer house that is closed up all winter and I don't want dead mice bodies deteriorating in the house. Any suggestions? When a mouse enters the station and begins chewing on a bait block, it will stop feeding after eating a lethal dose and die. Simply check the station at your own leisure to replace bait blocks and dispose of dead mice for sanitation purposes. While it is possible that the mouse would remain the the bait station, this will not always be the case.Date published: 2016-11-03
Do the leave the trap, and is it safe around pets, Dogs.??This bait station does not contain the mouse. They enter, eat some bait and leave. We recommend placing these in areas inaccessible to pets as a precaution to avoid accidental poisoning.Date published: 2016-10-25
What is the weight and concentration of a bait block? Each bait block is approximately 0.75 oz.Date published: 2016-06-01
Does this work with rodents other than mice? I have a burrowing rodent in the garden of unknown identity. It's probably nocturnal, because I never see it (or them) - rat? mole? vole? gopher? Don't know, don't really care, just want to get rid of it.This has only been tested to attract and kill mice. It is also not designed to be used outdoors.Date published: 2015-12-28
Victor® Fast Kill® Rodenticides - Expert Tips
Location, Location, LOCATION!
The most important rule for the effective use of rodenticide is good bait placement location based on thorough inspections to determine the high-activity areas of rodents. Thus, thorough inspections to determine the numbers and placements of bait are critical.
Pest Management Professionals know that the key to successful baiting is to alternate among different rodenticide actives. Also known as “Bait Rotation”, this technique requires that different active ingredients can be used to:
- Prevent Bait Shyness
- Maximize Consumption
- Limit Resistance
