The Victor® Electronic Rat Trap is the ultimate in rodent control. It works by delivering a humane, high-voltage shock to kill rats and mice that enter the chamber. Featuring a sleek, simple design, this trap allows for easy setup and No-See, No-Touch™ disposal. The trap also uses convenient LED lights to alert you of catches and low battery power.
Quick, Humane Kill
Once powered on, the Victor® Electronic Rat Trap uses smart circuit technology to deliver a humane, high-voltage shock, effectively killing rats and mice. This powerful device can kill up to 35 rats per set of batteries, making it a great value when you’re dealing with a sizable infestation.
No-See, No-Touch™ Disposal
With the Victor® Electronic Rat Trap, disposing of rats is a breeze. After a catch, an LED light blinks green, so you know when it’s time to empty the trap. Then just power off the trap and empty the chamber into the trash without ever having to touch the dead rodent. There’s no mess and no rodent contact.
Easy to Use
The Victor® Electronic Rat Trap takes the hassle out of eliminating rats. To use, apply a small amount of bait on the rear shock plate, turn the trap on, and place it along the wall near signs of rodent activity. In case of false triggers, this trap has an automatic re-arming feature so it can be triggered again without you needing to reset it.
Absolutely a 5 star product … period
I spend $100’s if not $1000’s from trap, baits to pest control… nothing!!! Then I bought this $48 gem and BOOM! Problem addressed in an extremely efficient and humane way.
You want something that works? THIS IS IT! After construction and demo of a nearby structure by our home, and our neighborhood being overrun with rats, sticky traps were not doing the job. So I got this. I put this out and by the morning it has done its job. Check out the pictures of the latest...this thing will take out 2 rats at the same time!
Go out and get this! It's worth every penny!
All the videos say to remove the top to clean. You can't remove the top. The videos say open the bait door. There is no bait door. The peanut butter doesn't stay stuck to the hexagonal fitting. You've redesigned to reduce your cost and ruined a great product. Hope your engineering group is proud.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the Victor® Electronic Rat Trap. The latest model features a fixed top design and a bait cup inside the trap for easy placement through the entrance rather than a separate door. Applying a small amount of sticky bait, such as peanut butter mixed with oats, helps it stay in place. Wipe the metal plates with a damp cloth after each use to maintain proper contact. Your feedback on the redesign is appreciated and will be shared with our product team for review.

I finally caught the bastard!

Omg!!! The rat is gone!!! Bought this victor electronic rat trap yesterday afternoon and the little bastard was dead within 24 hours. I had been getting glue traps and rat bait but none of it had been working. I saw this one was a little pricey but at the end of the day there's no price on having peace of mind knowing you can actually leave food out again without having to worry about one of these bastards eating it while you're asleep. I HIGHLY recommend this trap it definitely does the job
Unfortunatelone star is over rated. I friend picked this up for me after I told her I had a rodent in the house. I had previously had a rat zapper for years that had been fantastic so I was hopeful this would be too. It wasn't. After reimbursing my friend the $50 it cost, it caught exactly zero rodents!!! . I thought I must've done something wrong so I watch videos, bought new batteries( another chunk of money) , carefully inserted them , cleaned the interior and switched it on. After a few times setting it out in the kitchen the green light stopped coming on at all and the bait was always eaten. So basically I spent over $50 just for it to be a feeding station for rodents. It has really soured me on Victor products for sure and they used to be so reliable.
Can't put bait on panels ... Forgot bait tray in new design

Can't put bait on panels because it will cause a short. No bait tray! Horrible design it's like they forgot that part. I guess you have to convince them to go in there with a rat psychologist.
Works great! Clean and easy
I got this for rats, but my rats seem to have skipped off somewhere else. But it works great for the mice too.
The snap traps don't get the little ones and I have trouble with the mechanism. No issues here and I definitely think this is the most humane kind of trap
crappy video. The most important part loading the trap is not shown well and it is very brief. This is crap. The tech support does not have clear pictures to guide the customer this is a training issue. The video is terrible. The tech person just talked and apologized and didn't seem to understand and wouldn't escalate my call to second level. The service person kept thanking me for calling but never provided the answer to where exactly to load the bait. The old trap had a bait cup that hinged out. This one does not.
This new trap design is not effective. I’ve used the old design for YEARS with GREAT SUCCESS but this new trap just has the bait stolen with no kills. It’s also very lightweight and larger rodents drag it around.
There’s also no buzzing sound after I turn the power on, I don’t know if it’s actually on or not. It seems that the smaller batteries and he’s design aren’t powerful enough to get the job done.

Hi, Thank you so much for your question!
Based on the information that we have, you have to apply just a pea size of bait inside of the trap, which will prevent the rodents from stealing the bait also, When you turn on the trap it will just flash once and then go off, there should not be any buzzing sound. If you have any questions or other issues please call us at 1-855-584-2867.

In the past I used an earlier model of your rat catcher with great success. The new model does not seem to be working at all. No matter the lure, new batteries, or different placement the rat seems to be able to go right into the trap with no adverse effect. In fact I seem to be feeding it. After I turn it on the green light flashes a few times and then goes out. I don’t hear any buzzing noise as I did with the earlier unit. Any suggestions on how to make the unit actually perform

We recommend put brand new batteries, if the issue persist you can give us a call since our products have one year warranty.

When I first bought the trap and turned it on the green light would come on for a few seconds. Now when I turn it on the green light blinks three times and then turns off. What does that mean?
Also, there is no buzzing sound after about a minute when I turn it on.

I'd like an exploded view of the Model CM241B

You can find a video showing the trap and how it works on the official website: victorpest.com. While an exploded view diagram may not be available, the video provides a clear visual of the product’s components and functionality.
