Q.I switched to on position and the green light flashed on for a second. I didn’t hear a buzz. Is it on?
A.
We apologize for any confusion!  If the trap is flashing green when turned on, the trap is armed and ready. While the trap will often buzz as well, the buzz is fairly quiet and may be hard to hear if there is any background noise.
Q.can wifi be reprogram will they work without wifi
A.

This product does not require WiFi to operate.

Q.This there an electronic trap designed for outdoors? If so, what is the model#...if not, what is the best way to catch / kill a rat outdoors? Thank you.
A.

We do not currently offer electronic rodent traps that are designed for outdoor use. Snap traps or live catch traps can be used outdoors to catch or kill these rodents.

Q.Will the trap beep when it has a kill?
A.

A light will flash to indicate that there has been a kill.

Q.Which traps do you recommend for the occasional palm tree rats that get into the attic? They are on the small side, compared with say, NYC rats. Im afraid the traps that take D batteries may be overkill and frighten potential "inductees" away. I see the price is same for traps that use C batteries and traps that use D batteries.
A.

If you're worried about providing too much of a shock to the occasional palm rat, we recommend using the Victor® Electronic Rat Trap (M241). It provides a 6,000v shock to the rat as opposed to the Rat Zapper® Rat Traps, which provide between 7,000v-9,000v.
