How to Use

Your trap worked perfectly as advertised. At first a bit awkward in setting until I realize the swinging bar had to go under the front support, upon learning that all went well. I positioned the trap in the goper as shown in a video, I had a strong string attached to aid in pulling it out as well as to prevent the gopher from pulling it deeper into the tunnel.
The gopher came to check out the draft ( I did cover the opening with wide leaves and twings) and the trap did the rest. I had tried smoking him out or suffocating him and this approach did not work, but the trap worked perfectly! Thank you! GotEm
Ok, first off …NOT easy and scary , my wife got caught in both fingers and it HURT …
And all because Victor HAS ZERO WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS…a few on the box does show instructions for setting
But ZERO after..ok and the “ if properly placed “ ya good luck with THAT ! As the holes go UPWARDS not a straight line like they show ..land all the way in ? Uhhhhuh….without the flap triggering ..lrightttttt

I've tried almost every other kind of trap available and this one is outstanding!!! No more filled up traps, jamming or escapee gophers. This trap is the one to have. I know that the gopher is indeed dead. Easy to set, position and empty. Gophers don't have a chance.
Best product I have ever used for ridding my yard of pocket gophers. I had tried bate, sonic and granular replellants and nothing works like this trap. Also gives me the satisfaction of knowing that the rodent is indeed dead. I have also tried the traps that have a painted coating but they would jam and were basically teaching the gophers how to avoid them. This never happens with the unpainted, plain Victor Easy Set.
These traps have not caught 1 vole. I have great difficulties and frustration setting these traps. When I do manage to get them set they either go off by themselves or not at all. This trap seems to have design issues With trigger and setting systems. I like your other products but this was a wasted effort AND COST in my never ending BATTLE AGAINST AGAINST VOLES.

These traps are easy to set and they work. I had a fall run of gophers in my ward. Ordered 4 of these traps and put them in the gopher tunnels the day I received traps. After 3 days, 7 gophers successfully trapped and it looks like for now my yard is mine again.
Just bought a two pack. One works fine. The other will not stay set. Yes, i do know how to set these. Trip back to the store at my time and expense return these

When set properly (2 traps per run) these traps are highly effective. I recommend watching a YouTube video for info on proper setup. I have had to move my traps to different parts of the run sometimes because of dig arounds but I've never missed getting the gopher eventually. Four stars was all this page would allow me to give for some odd reason but I give it 5 stars enthusiastically.
