Sweeney’s® Poison Moleworms™- 3 Pack
It’s a startling (but true) fact that moles consume between 70% and 100% of their body weight in food each day. Not so surprising: earthworms rank high as a favorite food source – which is why Sweeney’s® Poison Moleworms™ were cleverly designed to look and feel just like the real deal. If you were to close your eyes and hold a Poison Moleworm™ and a real worm in each hand, you’d actually find it hard to feel the difference.
And better yet, these ingenious baits are formulated to be exceptionally palatable to moles – meaning, the moles find them to be downright tasty, which is why these poison worms are the best way to kill moles. When eaten, the poison bait swiftly kills the underground varmints. End result? The moles - and your mole woes – are history.
Stew Clarke, Sweeney's™ Director of Research, provides tips on how to kill moles with Sweeney's® Poison Moleworms™:
Locate Active Tunnels
Selecting the proper area to place the Poison Moleworms™ is essential to successfully getting rid of moles in your yard. Begin by locating active tunnels. Make one-inch holes in the roof of a tunnel and mark the openings with the locator flags included in the Poison Moleworm™ package. Revisit the holes after 24-48 hours. Tunnels that have had holes resealed are an indicator of mole activity and a good place to bait.
Proper Bait Placement:
After you’ve located an active tunnel, simply poke a hole that’s slightly larger than the diameter of the Poison Moleworm™ in the roof of the active tunnel and drop the mole killer in. Reseal with dirt and repeat every 5 to 10 feet.

Used the poison mole worms as directed along with the mole repellent granules and my mole problems are gone...along with the lawn-damaging pests. Thank you Victor's!
Review RateExcellent product
We have been inundated by moles and the only thing that has worked is Sweeney’s® Poison Moleworms. We started by running our lawn tractor over the front lawn thereby collapsing the mole tunnels. After that the 'active' mole tunnels are apparent when they start burring again. We use a thin wall metal 1" pipe to cut a hole into the mole tunnel, place a moleworm into the hole and gently tamp it down to assure it's in the tunnel. We have had great success using this system.

Review RateMole worms - good productI've live in the country and my yard had lots of moles. I started using Sweeney's mole worms and I've reduced the population a lot. I still have a few but I'm working on them.
Review RateAmazon ReviewThis seems to be the only product that really works against moles that are destroying my rock garden. I don't like to use poison but with the loose of some expensive plants it was either the moles or my plants and the mole lost.
Review RateAmazon Review, Works GREATI was able to capture a dead mole in just 2 days after I set the bait in my lawn. This product works. You know what doesn't work, the mole repellant that makes noise every once in a while.
Review RateAmazon Review, I\'d give it 10 stars if I could!!We had confirmed moles invade our yard this spring in 4 different spots. We first tried a poison granules that did nothing. Then I read some factual info that pointed out that moles don't eat grain, they eat worms...so we tried these. All 4 areas were dormant within 24 hours, and have been now for a week. I feel it's safe to say they worked! We're going to go about repairing the lawn this weekend. I have 2 tips. First, I don't recommend breaking the worms in half or thirds as others have suggested. It's possible a single mole needs the poison from an entire worm. Secondly, turn off your sprinklers first. The worms disintegrate in water and the ones of ours that got wet were not eaten and melted.
Review RateAmazon Review, Sweeney\'s works wellNeighbors advised pellets (Gopher and Mole Patrol)and I found them to be useless. A friend told me he uses Sweeney's worms........and only half a worm at a time ! Sure enough, just get to the center of the mole hill, with a narrow trowel dig down and around in the center and the newly chewed dirt will reveal the tunnel. Drop the half worm in as far as you can. To keep the worm clean and uncovered, plug the hole with a small piece of cardboard or paper (I ended up using even the plastic worm packaging), put some of the dirt back on top of the cardboard and "VOILA !". I killed all the moles in the front and back yards with one package ! I did find the flags helpful as there were a few mole hills that re appeared for a day or two....but now....no more moles ! Friends are better than most neighbors !! Oh, and a note to Mother Teresa, this stuff is made to kill not send them on a vacation.
