Q.Do I have to have internet to use the trap? We don't have internet here. I do have a smart phone.

This trap does not need a Wi-Fi connection in order to deliver a shock, however, without a Wi-Fi connection it will not be able to send alerts to the app.

Q.will this trap work in my shed in - 20 degrees
A.

Cold temperatures affect the battery life. We recommend using lithium based batteries as they function well at reduced temperatures.

Q.I’m using the WiFi trap and have killed 5rats so far. Seems like the 4 C cella’s o my last for one trapping. Can I use Nimh rechargeables?

We recommend using non-rechargeable batteries for these traps.

Q.Can more than 1 phone be set up to monitor the same trap?
A.

Yes. The trap is linked to an account. If the same account is used across multiple devices they will all receive alerts.

Q.My trap is labeling activity but not issuing shocks. The food is being taken and the rats are leaving behind a trail of stuff they bring in on their feet, but a week in I've had no kills. The trap is clean as well. Any idea how to correct? Or is this just a bum trap?
