Good, until you get mighty mouse in your house By Leigh

First mouse I caught easily within a couple hours. Let him go. Trap worked great. The second mouse though, I swear is mighty mouse. The trap winds up completely cleaned out and he's knocked the door off the hinge and dragged the trap across the room. This happens with little time passed between checking it. It is definitely a mouse as I've seen it but this one knows how to get free peanut butter snacks.

Works for me By Lee

I just caught my mouse in one of these. Peanut butter in the back, put it in someplace dark, along the wall in the kitchen and the next day, the door is closed, the cage is full. Just make sure you don't go just outside your house and let them go, I thought I caught 6 mice until I figured out it was the same one returning 6 times, but maybe you're not as dense as me. I've had the same traps for 10 years and had many inhabitants pay a temporary visit. Sometimes you get a clever mouse who gets the bait and escapes the trap, but they all eventually slip up and get caught.

Tuning Your M007 By
* The instructions are soon lost, so I hope everyone realizes that these traps should be set by resting (when open) on the bottom flat edges of the door.* The balance of M007 is important and can be upset by placing too much bait in the back --or the trap might have been too light on the door end to begin with (like ours were). I simply added a small wad of office "tacky clay" to the (when open) top of the door.* These are good, humane traps. Snap traps (in my experience) usually maim a mouse, which is heart breaking.

Works great and very humane By
I received a couple of these traps from a friend a couple years ago. Since then I have caught at least 40-50 mice. The only issue I saw was, if the mouse is on the bigger side, it's tail will stick out stopping the door from locking shut. The mouse is then able to back itself out. My biggest problem now is finding a retailer that carries them. Neither Lowes nor Home Depot have carried them in years.

Best Live Trap By
This is the best working live trap. It is very easy to release the trap outside without every touching the mouse (I guess it would also be easy to release it into the toilet if you want it dead). The Victor metal petal snap trap is probably the most effective in the world, but this is the BEST live trap. NOTE: if using on carpet it helps to place this on a spare tile or some other flat surface. I actually thnk mice are cute ... I just don't want them eating my house. So sometimes instead of the carnage of snap traps it makes me feel good to give some of the little fellas a chance .. to live OUTDOORS.
