I was not able to set the traps. Instructions on the box didn't work for me. I called your help line and the person answering was not able to help me...So I returned them.
Review RateDoesn\'t work.I bought 3 traps and have caught nothing. Once I even saw the dirt moving next to where I was setting the trap and still caught nothing. I guess I will add to the pile of useless devices I have tried that do not work.Response From Victor®Patty : Consumer Relations RepresentativeWe appreciate the time taken to provide this feedback and apologize for the experience.
Before placing a trap, we recommend determining if the tunnel is active. This can be done by stepping a spot down to collapse the tunnel. Then check that spot in 24 to 48 hours. If the tunnel has been repaired, it is active. The trap can then be placed over that active tunnel.

Review RatesucksThey don't work. I have had them a month and have not caught one mole. It takes far to much pressure to trip them.Response From Victor®Patty : Consumer Relations RepresentativeVictor® has a long history of producing high-quality and reliable products. We regret to hear that what was received did not meet these expectations.
This trap must be placed along an active tunnel. When the mole tries to re-open the tunnel, the soil will push up above the mole, triggering the trap.

Review RateSadly, our moles are still alive and thrivingI checked the reviews online before I made my decision to purchase the mole traps and ended up watching a youtube video of a guy who caught multiple moles in a short amount of time. We've had our traps set for days and haven't caught a single mole. I'm so disappointed, I thought they would really work for us.Response From Victor®Lauren : Consumer Relations RepresentativeWhen trapping moles, it is important to place the traps in active tunnels. Moles may only use certain tunnels once, while others they may use daily. To locate the active tunnels, we recommend collapsing certain areas of the tunnels and waiting 24 hours. If the tunnels have been repaired, this would indicate that it is an active tunnel and an ideal location for the trap.

Review RateGarbageBought 3. Used as directed. Nothing caught only more mole hills, they even bypassed the trap to fix the hole. One of the safety latches broke in half on day one and wasn't even used. Going to try poison. Strange how disappointed as a nickname was already taken.Response From Victor®Kelly : Consumer Relations RepresentativeHello,
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. When placing the traps in the active tunnels typically the mole will borrow straight through to reopen the tunnel and then trip the trap. We apologize that this was not the experience and would like to offer additional assistance.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. When placing the traps in the yard it is important to first locate the active tunnels. They can be found by pushing down the tunnels and they seeing which ones have been pushed back up in 24 hours.
