Victor® Ultra PestChaser® - 3 Units
The Victor® Ultra PestChaser® emits high frequency ultrasound that effectively repels rodents. The Ultra PestChaser is ideal for large sized areas like homes, businesses or even warehouses. And, with an LED light that can be turned on or off - you won’t even know it’s there.
The shape of the Victor Ultra PestChaser® makes it easy to nestle it out of the way in large, used areas such as warehouses and garages while the 6 ft cord enables ideal placement.
Only the Rodents Will Know
To keep rodents from becoming accustomed to the sound, The Victor® PESTCHASER® PRO emits ultrasound at varying volumes (peaking at 100dB) and varying frequencies (ranging from 32 to 62 kHz). With over 80 oscillations per second, this rodent repeller sounds like a jackhammer to mice and rats. The non-repetitive volume and frequency levels cause discomfort and an unfriendly environment that discourages rodent infestations. It is important to note that ultrasound does not travel through walls, furniture or other obstructions.
Easy to Use
Just plug it in and place it where you want it. Use one Ultra PestChaser® unit per room and place in an open area. In order to be effective, a pest control effort needs to use several different tools and methods. First, rid your space of rodents using one of the many solutions offered by Victor® Ultra PestChaser®. Whether your preference is snap, electronic, live, or poisons, there is a solution to fit your needs. After the rodents are eliminated, use the Victor® Ultra PestChaser® to keep them away.
How exactly does it work? By sending out high-frequency ultrasound that the pests find very distressing, the PestChaser® “encourages” them to flee the scene. To the rodents, the ultrasonic sound devices are loud and stress-inducing, while undetectable to the human ear. To keep rodents from becoming accustomed to the noise, the Victor® PestChaser® varies the volumes and frequencies it emits.

How To Use It:
The Ultra PestChaser is easy to use and is ideal for large sized areas like homes, businesses or warehouses.
- Locate an open area to place the Ultra PestChaser
- Plug the Ultra PestChaser into the lower socket of a 110V-AC wall outlet
- Clear all surrounding objects away from the PestChaser
- Turn on the optional LED light (the light mimics the ultrasound pulsating from the unit)
- Then just sit back, relax, and forget
Reduction in rodent activity should occur within 6-10 days. You will only need to use one Ultra PestChaser® per large size area; but please note that ultrasound does not travel through walls or furniture so please clear all surrounding objects obstructing the PestChaser. For ultimate rodent control, add one PestChaser to each room or area in which you see signs of rodent activity.

Review RateGreat rodent control
Product arrived in time as expected. So far no sign of rats in the attic. I have a large attic. I am using 2 units to cover the space
We had two going at the same time in an enclosed back porch and still caught 3 mice in regular traps bated with peanut butter with the device going off beside it. The rep told me I️ could get a refund, but since I️ logged in as guest, I️ have to pay postage to return. That sucks! Rep I️ talked with was nice and helpful. Wish we could find something that works as well as a cat for those of us with allergies.Response From Victor®Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
We apologize for this experience. When a trap is used at the same time as a repellent, mice will more than likely put up with the unwelcome environment in order to get to the food source. To see the full potential of the PestChaser® we recommend removing any traps from the area. When used as directed, a reduction in rodent activity should be seen within 6-10 days.

Review Rategood in a confined space
These do work in a confined space if you can get them blasting before the rats settle down. In my experience, if the rats are already used to a place, it is more difficult. It is September in Northern California, and we have rats in a grape arbor in the yard. I hear them at night, eating grapes. I do not want to put out poison or traps because of pets and native wildlife. So I tried putting an Ultra PestChaser in a wooden box and put it right up close to the grape arbor. I think they are still there, but the ultra sound seems to make them quieter at night.

Waste of MONEY, Just like all the pest companies told me that after awhile the rats will come back as they realize no harm comes to them other than noise, still have rats and they just run right pass this like it's not even there.Response From Victor®Lauren : Consumer Relations Representative
Thank you for taking the time to share this experience. These repellents output continuously which causes discomfort and creates an unwelcome environment for the rodents. After repeated exposure to the product, the mice and rats will be driven away.
For best results, place the units so that they are not obstructed by furniture as the frequency does not go through solid objects such as walls or cabinets. For heavy infestations, we recommend the use of traps in conjunction with the repellent.

Review RateFound a solution to our mouse problems finally!
We have two houses in MI in a wooded dunes area and have had mice problems year-round. We tried the Ultra Pestchasers in combo with the electronic mouse traps and have had no signs of mice from the time we set them up in October. It is now May. We used multiple Pestchasers in both houses to spread the effect. We have been so happy with their effectiveness. One house is an unheated seasonal cottage with wooden floors and no insulation, always easy access for mice. There are absolutely no signs of any in the past 8 months. Same with our newer year-round home. Wow, so grateful for the results!
Doesn't work still got miceResponse From Victor®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
Victor® has a long history of producing high-quality and reliable products. We regret to hear that what was received did not meet these expectations.
This product emits high frequency sound waves that create an unwelcome environment. A reduction in rodent activity should occur within 6-10 days of continuous use. Since sound waves are absorbed by walls or materials in a room, placement is key.

Review RateAM ADDICTED/DEPENDENT!
I had a horrendous mouse problem coming from a source I could not see - a crack in the foundation under a fireplace. They went up, across and into the attic, into the attached garage, into the insullation - you can imagine the details. I bought everything the hardware stores sold to plug, spray or sprinkle. In desperation I found Victor online to see whether they still made and sold the REAL traps, with a metal place for real cheese, not the plastic slab. After I explained what I wanted and the several years of problems I had, I was told about this item. I immediately purchased, strategically plugged and have used non-stop WITH PERFECT SUCCESS since! I am in LOVE! However, one must patch all gaps, be careful of open (attached!) garage doors, be sensible about (whatever is) attracting them, especially in Fall when they are seeking wintering shelter. I have had two in the garage since, both in Fall (open double garage door!) that I think must have wandered in, encountered the electronic pulse and scampered away - into the Victor baited REAL trap. I was told by someone at Victor these last about 5 years before needing to be replaced. One may tell the gadget is "dying" when the light begins to fade as it pulsates on and off. Over the years, we have had possums and raccoons dig, burrow, claw under the back porch far enough not to be able to be caught, to winter and produce. One summer we trapped 14 possums for release elsewhere. Since (three years) one device has been plugged into the porch, there have been no animals under in. I read the sound does not penetrate wood, but there simply must be some connection/relationship. The device is on the floor in the north east corner. Critters access from the north side. Has to be a correlation. I'm sorry for the buyers who were not successful!! For me, this has been one of the best gifts I have ever bought myself (and my mental state!), as I have a rabid phobia re: rodents - and no longer have to "control" it!
Review RateNot impressed
Disappointed that within 6 feet of the unit we found mouse droppings. So not sure it actually works.Response From Victor®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
We appreciate the time taken to provide this feedback and apologize for the experience.
This product emits high frequency sound waves that create an unwelcome environment for rats and mice. A reduction in rodent activity can be seen in 6-10 days as they become conditioned to avoid the area.

Noticed some improvement. Less mice openly running freely across the rooms where these are located however I still find fresh droppings near the speakers and I found a nest in the same room as one a few feet from it. However to be fair the nest was under a wood burning stove and the box says the noise won't travel through walls or furniture All and all very disappointed with the productResponse From Victor®Lauren : Consumer Relations Representative
Thank you for sharing this experience. The sonic frequency will not penetrate through solid objects such as walls or furniture, so placement is key. A reduction in rodent activity should occur within 6-10 days, however, it can take longer to fully eliminate the mice or rats from the area.

Victor® PestChaser® Ultrasonic Rodent Repellents - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does the ultrasound affect animals?
A: The PestChaser® emits ultrasound at varying volumes (peaking at 100dB) and varying frequencies (ranging from 32 to 62 kHz) well above the range of hearing for humans and non-rodent pets like cats, dogs, birds and fish. We do not recommend using the PestChaser® around rodent pets like gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and other rodent pets.
Q: How much area does the PestChaser® cover? / Does the ultrasound penetrate through walls?
A: The PestChaser® unit can only cover the room in which it is installed. The ultrasonic waves cannot penetrate walls or furniture so we recommend using multiple units per room. We recommend using the Mini PestChaser® in average sized rooms like kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms. We recommend using the Heavy Duty and Ultra PestChaser® in large sized rooms like attics, basements, garages, etc.
Q: Where should I plug the PestChaser® in? / Can I plug the PestChaser® into an extension cord? / Can it be used outside?
A: For proper placement of the PestChaser®, first identify a room that has signs of rodent activity. Plug the PestChaser® into the lower socket of a 110V-AC wall outlet. The ultrasonic waves cannot penetrate walls or furniture. Ultrasound is reflected by hard surfaces and absorbed by soft surfaces. In a room with mostly hard surfaces, like a kitchen, ultrasound will “bounce” around giving more effective coverage. The ideal placement would allow the ultrasound to cross in front of an entrance way. The PestChaser® can be plugged into an extension cord as long as it is placed in an open area along the wall and not near walls or furniture. The Victor® PestChaser® is recommended for indoor use only. They were designed and manufactured to be used indoors and not exposed to the elements. If this PestChaser® is used outside, the unit could potentially short out due to weather conditions, such as rain.
