Victor® Power Kill Rat Trap, 12-Pack
Excellent for controlling rats in apartment buildings, restaurants, offices and other small business establishments.
The latest innovation in rat traps, the Victor® Power Kill Rat Trap is set and released with one simple “click”. This one-step open and close mechanism also makes it easy to cleanly dispose of the rodent with no hand contact.
The trap was designed with a large trough, for easy baiting with any of their favorite foods. The Power Kill’s oversized pedal is easily activated – both by rodent interest in food AND through accidental contact as rats scamper across the floor – to ensure maximum trapping. Once a rodent triggers the pedal, the powerful jaw immediately springs closed for a quick, humane kill on contact.
The clean-trapping Victor® Power Kill Rat Trap delivers effective and immediate rat control - even in hard to reach places. Each powerful rat trap features two holes on the back for attachment to pipes, beams and other hard-to-access places where rats thrive.
Made of highly durable plastic, this rat trap is safe for use around food, water, animals and children and can be reused multiple times to maximize rat control. Victor® Power Kill Rat Traps are the perfect for use in apartment buildings, restaurants, offices and other small business establishments. These rat traps should be placed where rodents travel, such as along walls at 2 to 3 foot intervals.

Review RatePanic City!!!.....Help!I live in a rural area and due to my movement between two homes, one in the United Kingdom, there is no way to add a pet dog/cat. Unfortunately, I have been plagued in the past with costly wire repairs for both my car and truck. With some misinformation, I started to hate squirrels with a passion. The last wire repair as the car would not start at all. The mechanic said: I believe your problem is with field rats. Yes, these field rats can grow large, like to make their nests in the engine block area and are quick to pull away at the firewall insulation for nest building material. These were the symptoms I experienced and then, I started to research for a larger trap coming upon the larger Victor Power-Kill Trap. I was very careful as new traps have a plastic smoothness that make them a bit tricky to work with, but I didn't loose any fingers, but did get startled a few times. Finally I got the hang of it and baited these traps and placed them at suspected areas.
The next day I inspected the traps and all were intact minus one; it was missing or so I thought.....looking closer, I saw this large dead field rat with its eyes bugged out. I jumped back initially even though I realized it was dead. The rat was large and had pulled the trap under a piece of wood before it expired. So the rat was that strong and in the examination, was a larger adult size. Pulling the Victor Trap out with a stick, I had to get a good grip as the rat carcass was more weight than I expected. I was amazed and grateful that now I can honestly combat these creatures. I read that these vermin can be quite smart and figure how to avoid traps.....well now, it is like a fishing trip with my baiting and rebaiting with fresh peanuts and peanut butter. By the way, if anyone has a better bait for these field rats, please let me know.
Well, this is my review.....strange but true....to think that I can deal with a nuisance that operates in the night and can definitely disrupt one's life. Pleased that Victor came to my rescue.
Review RateGood product at a good price!
I have had one of these traps for a long time and it worked so well that I just bought four more. They outscore any other traps I have. They almost never miss.
Review RateEasy to set and use!!
I bought this trap today and it was able to extinguish the rodent in my house, at first I thought it was a chipmunk but instead it was just a mouse. I mounted it to a piece of 2x4 for more stability (mounting holes on the trap are pre-drilled for you) well worth the money. Moving forward, I will only buy this trap. The divot hole for the bait makes this trap inescapable. 5 star.
Review RateVictor power kill rat trap
I bought the rat traps and have had great success. They are easy to operate and easy to bait and I have caught one each time that I have put them out. I'm now realizing that the problem was worse than I thought and I will purchase more of these traps.
Review Ratesorry I bought theseThese seemed to be such a good idea, but so many times have left rats caught in a cruel way still lingering on...unless, they get the food and get away altogether. The wooden traps are better in our opinion. The black metal electric are the very best of all.Response From Victor®Susan : Consumer Relations RepresentativeHello Joey,
The High-Impact Kill Bar™ used on this trap is designed to provide a quick and humane kill. We apologize that was not your experience. For best results, we recommend placing only a pea sized amount of peanut butter in the bait cup. This will help ensure that the rat is properly aligned when the trap is triggered.
We would like to learn more and offer additional assistance. Please feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-5-VICTOR (1-855-584-2867) for further help.
Review Rate2 for 2
I bought two last night, baited with sunflower seeds. Two dead mice this morning.
Review RateThe greatest trap everI just want to be the one to say that this is the greatest rat trap ever !!!!
In 10 days I have nailed 18 Rats using 3 POWER KILL Traps. My first kill had 2 in it. I kid you not. All you do is put peanut butter in the bowl only none on the paddle . Push the trap in the soil near hole so the RAT can reach the bowl with his nose . Then the Rat puts it's weight on the paddle. DONE !!!
I've gone on internet, YouTube tried everything. Don't waste your time.
POWER KILL and Peanut butter is all you need. !!
Review RateBest rat trap ever!We have a terrible rat problem in our area. I bought several of the older wooden models and one of these from Home Depot, which is the only store in our area that stocks them. Rats can easily lick the peanut butter from the old-style traps without setting off the trap, but this new Power-Kill forces the rat to put it's entire head onto the lever, then Whammo, dead rat. We set three Power-Kills out last night, and within two minutes, we had one rat. Minutes later, another, and by morning when I checked the traps, another. We're batting 1000 with these traps.I have recommended these traps to all my neighbors. They are easy to set and easy to release the dead rat so we can re-use the traps. Fantastic! Bravo!
Review RateGot em both
Good price, fast service, quality product. Got a second just in case and glad I did 2 for 2
Review RateEasy, Humane, Deadly, Economical, Avail. In Stores
I have been using the same set for years. Superior to classic wood traps. Anyone can set it up. Clean kill everytime. Always on the neck. Design seems to prevent catching limbs and maiming animal because of bar stops. This why not every snap kills imo. That's fine by me. Rather have 80% success with 100% clean kill. Affordable. Can get at local grocery store. Great product! Thanks!
