It has a powerful attractant scent easily attracting insects and much better than other traps I've tried.Date published: 2016-04-28Rated 5 out of 5 by Brett from I love these things. Spiders love them. I have been using these every year for the past 3 or so and can say they work for me. I have wolf and some hobo spiders which are native to my area and these traps do a good job. When the traps fill up, I make sure to replace with this product specifically. I keep a bunch in the garage and downstairs. It's nice because I can tell where they are coming in and I load up more traps in that area and seal cracks or other openings they might use to get in. I use spider spray for direct use and have tried the powders but that doesn't seem to be as effective. The home defense sprays from big name stores are garbage when it comes to spiders I've found. Sticky traps are the best for control and these work.Date published: 2016-04-25Rated 5 out of 5 by sgt_majorette from The Only Traps That Work! I can't find these in stores anymore, but that's okay, because online ordering was fast and easy. These are the only traps I've found that actually work on roaches *and* their eggs.Date published: 2016-04-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Excellent results I noticed a several cave (camel)crickets in my basement along with centipedes. I read that the cave crickets are a favorite meal of the centipedes! I put down several of the insect magnet traps, and to my surprise, I trapped about 40 cave crickets over a month and many centipedes. I had a serious problem, and I didn't even know it! I highly recommend these traps. They do work very well and are very reasonable priced. They accomplished what an exterminator could not!Date published: 2011-10-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from best of the bunch These things are the best thing I've found out there since... well you know. I had no idea there were that many different kinds of little bugs crawling around our floors and some pretty weird looking ones at that. These babies catch'm all and (if you care to look) display them just inside the box. What a great idea and safe around pets too. I recommend them to everyone that hates bugs, especially scorpions! Yeah, they trap them too!Date published: 2011-09-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Review Posted on Amazon.com Been having issues with crickets, I usually have one or two a week and I catch them in a bucket and toss them outside. With all the rain we've been having I'm seeing 3-5 a day. For the 3-5 I see, I worry about the ones I don't see and am worried that they're going to start multiplying in my house. To catch the explorers I bought these traps. Placed a few at the well known areas and they're working great. I really don't want to kill them but now it's to the point where I need to protect my property.Know that you really can't rely on one method for dealing with pests. I have purchased EcoPCO for around cracks of doors and windows and Ortho Home Defense MAX granules to sprinkle 2' away from my foundation.Yesterday was the first day I've come home and no little chirpers were waiting for me on the downstairs steps. I know I may have a straggler here or there but I am hopeful for the end to such an annoyance! Thanks Victor! Your sticky traps are exactly what I need for the critters that are already inside my home while I deal with securing my perimeter with harsher stuff.Date published: 2011-08-25Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Review Posted on Amazon.com After dealing with crappy sprays, I decided to give these glue traps a try. I caught a hobo spider after the first day in my garage and now have numerous other small and large spiders. These do a great job and I plan on buying more. Highly recommended.Date published: 2011-08-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Review Posted on Amazon.com There are spiders and bugs anywhere you go and I can't stand most of them especially spiders. I have children and a dog and need something that I can put out of sight (or even in sight) and never have to worry about. Sprays and chemicals are not the thing for me, so I decided to try these traps. Amazingly they actually work!! They have caught more than just spiders and I am extremely happy I purchased these traps. I will get them again in the future once the first ones are full.Date published: 2011-08-10
Are these safe around pets especially curious cats? If not where do you suggest they be placed so the cats don't get near them?
