Cat Cape Contest Terms and Conditions

Please read the official rules and regulations below. By entering the Victor® Cat Cape Contest, you ("You") accept these Official Rules.

These are the Official Rules of the Victor® Cat Cape Contest that runs October 20, 2016 through December 16, 2016. The first place winner of the Victor® Cat Cape Contest will receive $500. The second most voted cape will receive $300 and third place will receive $100.

Anyone who enters the Victor® Cat Cape Contest grants Victor® permission to use their name and design on all Victor® online and offline marketing channels including but not limited to ads, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to legal United States residents who are eighteen (18) or older at the time of entry. The following persons are not eligible to enter the contest: employees and directors of Woodstream Corporation® and people who are involved in any way with this contest. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest and no preference will be given due to purchases. If you received a prize for a previous Victor® contest or sweepstakes, you are not eligible to compete in the cat cape contest. By entering, you agree to these Rules and warrant that you are eligible to enter the contest and Your Submission (defined in Section 3 below) complies with these Official Rules.

PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

Submit your cat cape design entry between October 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM (EST) and November 15, 2016 at 11:59 PM (EST). The voting period will open November 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM (EST) and close December 16, 2016 at 11:59 PM (EST). Winners will be notified no later than December 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM (EST) via email.

HOW TO ENTER

No purchase necessary to participate/win a prize. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

To enter the Victor® Cat Cape Contest, you must visit www.victorpest.com/contests/victor-cat-cape and complete the entry form with all required information, including but not limited to, name, email address, and cat cape design. All design submissions must be created on the cape template provided and submitted as a JPG, JPEG, GIF or PNG. Max file size for upload is 5 MB.

Each user can upload a max of 2 design submissions.

The Entry is free for anyone to enter. To enter the contest, You also must accept these Terms and Conditions and Victor® Privacy Policy: http://www.victorpest.com/customerservice/privacy-policy. Submission constitutes your agreement.

The winner of the Victor® Cat Cape Contest is determined by how many votes a user’s cape design receives on the Victor® voting page. Anyone can vote in the contest. Each user gets one vote, per IP address, per 24 hour period.

The cat cape design with the most votes wins first prize ($500). The cat cape design with the second most votes wins second prize ($300). And the cat cape design with the third most votes wins third prize ($100).

In the case of technical issues, duplicate entries will be deleted. If the Victor® website or contest landing page is temporarily unavailable, entrants should reattempt their vote or submission at a later time.

When you submit your submission online, the cat cape design and your entry caption will be viewable to anyone who visits the site but your name and email will remain confidential and viewable only by people involved in running the contest. Submissions may be disqualified at any time for non-compliance with these Official Rules. Victor® makes the final determination as to which Submissions are eligible to take part in this contest and which Submissions will be considered for the prize. Victor® will not notify you of the reasons for such disqualification.

Entries may not contain any content, material or element that displays any third party advertising, slogan, logo, trademark or otherwise indicates a sponsorship or endorsement by a third party, commercial entity or that is not within the spirit of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Entries that do not comply with these requirements will be disqualified.

ANY ATTEMPT TO ENTER THE CONTEST EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE IS VOID.

REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES; INDEMNIFICATION

You represent and warrant that: (a) you are eligible to enter the contest; (b) you have complied and will comply with these Official Rules in connection with your participation in the Victor® Cat Cape Contest your Submission complies with all of the requirements of all sections. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold Victor® harmless from any losses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from any third party action asserting a breach by you of any representation, warranty, or obligation in these Official Rules.

PRIZES

The first place winner of the Victor® Cat Cape Contest will receive $500. The cape with the second most votes receives $300 and the third cape receives $100. The Victor® Cat Cape Contest winners can expect prizes to be mailed to them within forty-five (45) days after the winners respond to their email notifications confirming their address.

The selected winners will be notified by email and must respond via email within 72 hours from notification or Victor® reserves the right to choose an alternate winner.

If the prize is returned as undeliverable, if you reject your prize, or in the event of noncompliance with the Contest Terms and Conditions, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.

Federal, state, and local taxes and all other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of any prize not specified as awarded herein are the winner's sole responsibility.

RULES CHANGES

Victor® reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time (deadlines, stages, prizes).

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of you and Victor® in connection with this contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United States of America, without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof, and all proceedings shall take place exclusively in the United States of America.
