Victor® Games Contest Terms and Conditions

Please read the official rules and regulations below. By entering the Victor® Games cat contest, you (“You”) accept these Official Rules. These are the Official Rules of the Victor® Games cat contest that runs August 1, 2016 through Oct 15, 2016. The first place winner of the Victor® Games cat contest will receive $500, second place will receive $300 and third place will receive $150. Anyone who enters the Victor® Games cat contest grants Victor® permission to use their names, videos, and images of their cat (including modifications) on all Victor® online and offline marketing channels including but not limited to online ads, Facebook, Twitter, etc.


This contest is open to legal United States residents who are eighteen (18) or older at the time of entry. The following persons are not eligible to enter the contest: employees and directors of Woodstream Corporation® and people who are involved in any way with this contest. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest and no preference will be given due to purchases. If you received a prize for a previous Victor® contest or sweepstakes, you are not eligible to win the Victor® games contest. By entering, you agree to these Rules and warrant that you are eligible to enter the contest and Your Submission (defined in Section 3 below) complies with these Official Rules.


Submit your video entry between August 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM (EST) and September 15, 2016 at 11:59 PM (EST). The voting period will open September 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM (EST) and close October 15, 2016 at 11:59 PM (EST). Winners will be announced no later than October 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM (EST) via email.


No purchase necessary to participate/win a prize. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

To enter the Victor® Games cat contest, you must visit and complete the entry form with all required information, including but not limited to, name, email address, and video.

Show the world your cat’s mouse-fighting skills. Need some suggestions? Show your cats quick reflexes with lasers, show off how high they can jump, or have your cat attack a toy mouse.

Each user can upload 1 video entry. Videos must be 15-20 seconds each and less than 20 MB. Acceptable file formats include MP4, FLV, MOV, and 3GP.

If there is any audio in your video it must be your voice or original music and not infringe on third-party rights. Because Victor® maintains a family-friendly image and promotes sanitary and safe pest control products, videos showing animals in unsafe conditions or crude gestures or language will be disqualified. Be careful not to inadvertently show another company’s trademark, logo or intellectual property in your video. Victor® may elect to blur, mute or disqualify any videos that don’t meet these guidelines.

The Entry is free for anyone to enter. To enter the contest, you also must accept these Terms and Conditions and Victor® Privacy Policy: Submission constitutes your agreement.

The winner of the Victor® Games cat contest is determined by how many votes a user’s video receives on the Victor® voting page. Anyone can vote in the contest. Each user gets one vote within a 24 hour period.

The video with the most votes wins first prize ($500), the video with the second most votes with second prize ($300) and the video with the third most votes wins third prize ($150).

In the case of technical issues, duplicate entries will be deleted. If the Victor® website or contest landing page is temporarily unavailable, entrants should reattempt their vote or submission at a later time.

When you submit your submission online, the video and your first name will be viewable to anyone who visits the site but your last name and email will remain confidential and viewable only to the people involved in running the contest. Submissions may be disqualified at any time for non-compliance with these Official Rules. Victor® makes the final determination as to which Submissions are eligible to take part in this contest and which Submissions will be considered for the prize. Victor® will not notify you of any disqualification or the reasons for such disqualification.



You represent and warrant that: (a) you are eligible to enter the contest; (b) you have complied and will comply with these Official Rules in connection with your participation in the Victor® Games cat contest your Submission complies with all of the requirements of all sections. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold Victor® harmless from any losses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from any third party action asserting a breach by you of any representation, warranty, or obligation in these Official Rules.


The first place winner of the Victor® Games cat contest will receive $500, second place will receive $300 and third place will receive $150. The Victor® Games cat contest winners can expect the prize to be mailed to them in the form of a check within forty-five (45) days after the winner responds to their email notification confirming their address.

The selected winners will be notified by email and must respond via email within 72 hours from notification or Victor® reserves the right to choose an alternate winner.

If the prize is returned as undeliverable, if you reject your prize, or in the event of noncompliance with the contest Terms and Conditions, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.

Federal, state, and local taxes and all other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of any prize not specified as awarded herein are the winner's sole responsibility.


Victor® reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time (deadlines, stages, prizes).

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of you and Victor® in connection with this contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United States of America, without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof, and all proceedings shall take place exclusively in the United States of America.
