Description

Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - 5 Traps

Unlike traditional snap traps, the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap uses a high-voltage, quick and humane shock that kills the mouse in seconds. The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is as efficient as it is effective, killing one mouse per setting and 100 mice per set of 4 “AA” batteries (not included). This trap offers a 100% kill rate – meaning there are no escapes and you can rid yourself of a small rodent problem in one single night. Includes 5 traps.

Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - 5 Traps

Unlike traditional snap traps, the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap uses a high-voltage shock to humanely kill mice. And at 100 mice per set of 4 “AA” batteries (not included), this trap is as efficient as it is effective.

The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap uses advanced smart circuit technology to sense when a mouse enters the trap. Once inside, the mouse is held in place by the trap’s patented tunnel design and beveled columns. This eliminates any chance of bait theft and enables a 100% kill rate. When the mouse steps onto the metal plates, it completes the circuit and the trap delivers a humane, high-voltage shock. Each time the trap catches a mouse, the indicator light on top flashes green for up to seven days.

Using the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is easy. Simply bait, place, and turn on. Do not allow bait or any other material to contact the metal plates, as this will falsely trip the system. A green light will blink once, and a short buzzing sound indicates the trap is working properly. If the batteries are low, a red light will blink to let you know they need replaced. Once a mouse has been caught, simply open the lid and dump the mouse into the trash without having to see or touch the body.

The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap features a covered tunnel design and built-in safety switch that automatically deactivates the trap whenever the lid on top of trap is opened. And because it doesn’t use poisons or chemicals, the trap is safe to use anywhere indoors and perfect for houses with children or pets.

  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Insert 4 “AA” batteries.
  3. Replace the battery cover.
  4. Open the lid on the electronic mouse trap. Bait the trap using the bait trough provided. The bait trough is located on the back wall of the trap. Apply a small amount of peanut butter or anything high in protein like chocolate, hazelnut spread, etc. Be sure to use a Q-tip, toothpick or another tool to bait so your scent is not transferred onto the trap. Close the lid on the electronic mouse trap.
  5. Place the trap where you have seen signs of rodent activity or along the wall where rodents primarily travel. The trap should be placed lengthwise against the wall with the entrance hole nearest the wall.
  6. Turn on the trap – a green light will blink once showing the trap is working properly.
  7. A blinking green light will indicate a kill. To dispose of the mouse, simply open the lid and dump the mouse directly into the trash without having to touch the mouse at all. The trap can then be reset or discarded based on personal preference. To reset, just add more bait, place the trap, and turn it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best mouse trap ever!!! I have caught several mice over the past month and are still working like a charm. Will now be buying more to rid of my problem. This is by far the best mouse trap on the market.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mice getting smarter? Just moved into a new house with unfortunately some mice activity. Caught the first one within a couple days with the trap and it worked like a charm. The mouse still had his mouth on the peanut butter so kill was instant. I've re-set the trap in the mean time but unsuccessful so far even though there is obvious mice activity around the trap. Have they figured out the danger already of entering the trap?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great at Catching, but Poor Longevity When working, these traps are Great! On the advice of a friend, I bought three traps in the last two weeks and have had three different problems; one trap caught two mice and then started making a load buzzing sound when turned on, another was missing a door hinge pin so I had to make a tape hinge, and one caught 10 mice and then quit working for no apparent reason. I handled the units very carefully so they were not abused. Not sure why I got three lemons???

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product This is the best product yet, however I am disappointed that when a mouse was caught the light did not flash for 7 days as stated. So happen I smelled a foul smell and when I checked the box there was a dead mouse. Can you tell me why the trap does not flash for 7 days indicating that there was a catch? I would have given it 5 stars if would have given me an indication that there was a mouse inside the box. I only had my trap for 3 days.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work for me I've had these traps for about a month now and haven't caught one mouse. I put peanut butter in them as suggested and put them where I've seem the mice running, two upstairs and one in the basement and nothing. I ever tried squirt cheese that I know they like and still nothing. Nice idea but doesn't work for me.

Q&A
FAQs

Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do I place the trap?

A: Place the trap along the wall where rodents primarily travel or where you have seen signs of rodent activity. For example, if you have a mouse in your house (super small droppings as compared to rat droppings, which are about the size of half a raisin).

Q: How do I bait it?/What should I use to bait it?

A: To bait the Electronic Mouse Trap, first make sure the trap is turned off. Place the bait along the back wall of the trap in the bait trough provided. We’ve carefully researched and recommend baiting with anything high in protein like peanut butter or hazelnut spread. Place a small amount of bait (the size of a pea) against the back wall of the kill chamber. Be sure to use gloves or a tool to bait so your scent is not transferred onto the trap. Please don’t place the bait or any other material directly on the metal plates as this will falsely trip the system.

Q: How do I clean the trap?

A: Through repeat use and baiting, dust and debris can settle on the metal plates inside the trap, so we recommend that you clean your trap between each use. To clean the trap:

  • Turn the unit to the off position and remove the batteries
  • Wipe the metal plates with a damp cloth (water or unscented dish detergent only)
  • Allow the Electronic Mouse Trap to air dry completely
  • Replace the batteries and turn the unit back on.

Q: Is the buzzing/clicking normal?

A: The buzzing and slight clicking sound with the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is normal during the start-up of the trap. When you first turn the trap on, the green light will blink momentarily and then you will hear the buzzing or a slight clicking sound indicating that you trap is working properly and starting up.

Q: Is it reusable?

A: The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is reusable. These traps are able to kill up to 100 mice per set of batteries.
