Description

Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - 5 Traps

Unlike traditional snap traps, the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap uses a high-voltage, quick and humane shock that kills the mouse in seconds. The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is as efficient as it is effective, killing one mouse per setting and 100 mice per set of 4 “AA” batteries (not included). This trap offers a 100% kill rate – meaning there are no escapes and you can rid yourself of a small rodent problem in one single night. Includes 5 traps.

Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - 5 Traps

Unlike traditional snap traps, the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap uses a high-voltage shock to humanely kill mice. And at 100 mice per set of 4 “AA” batteries (not included), this trap is as efficient as it is effective.

The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap uses advanced smart circuit technology to sense when a mouse enters the trap. Once inside, the mouse is held in place by the trap’s patented tunnel design and beveled columns. This eliminates any chance of bait theft and enables a 100% kill rate. When the mouse steps onto the metal plates, it completes the circuit and the trap delivers a humane, high-voltage shock. Each time the trap catches a mouse, the indicator light on top flashes green for up to seven days.

Using the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is easy. Simply bait, place, and turn on. Do not allow bait or any other material to contact the metal plates, as this will falsely trip the system. A green light will blink once, and a short buzzing sound indicates the trap is working properly. If the batteries are low, a red light will blink to let you know they need replaced. Once a mouse has been caught, simply open the lid and dump the mouse into the trash without having to see or touch the body.

The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap features a covered tunnel design and built-in safety switch that automatically deactivates the trap whenever the lid on top of trap is opened. And because it doesn’t use poisons or chemicals, the trap is safe to use anywhere indoors and perfect for houses with children or pets.

  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Insert 4 “AA” batteries.
  3. Replace the battery cover.
  4. Open the lid on the electronic mouse trap. Bait the trap using the bait trough provided. The bait trough is located on the back wall of the trap. Apply a small amount of peanut butter or anything high in protein like chocolate, hazelnut spread, etc. Be sure to use a Q-tip, toothpick or another tool to bait so your scent is not transferred onto the trap. Close the lid on the electronic mouse trap.
  5. Place the trap where you have seen signs of rodent activity or along the wall where rodents primarily travel. The trap should be placed lengthwise against the wall with the entrance hole nearest the wall.
  6. Turn on the trap – a green light will blink once showing the trap is working properly.
  7. A blinking green light will indicate a kill. To dispose of the mouse, simply open the lid and dump the mouse directly into the trash without having to touch the mouse at all. The trap can then be reset or discarded based on personal preference. To reset, just add more bait, place the trap, and turn it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best mouse control device on the market The Victor Electronic Mousetrap is currently the best designed, most effective, child/pet safest, and truly humane mouse control device on the market. I've tried just about all mouse control devices/poisons on the market over the past 15 years, but none can compete with this device. Victor, Keep up the great work!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works I bought this one from home depot and it worked. I caught 3 in my kitchen. The only problem is after the second catch, the light did not work. The 3rd one was a surprise and I did not know there was the dead creature in the trap until i opened it. It sure scared me. So now I am a little reluctant to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These traps are terrific I used these traps all last year and took care of my mouse problem in the tack room. The only problem I have had is that the door breaks off and I have to order some new ones. Those mice don't stand a chance when Victor electronic mouse traps are on the watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the only traps you need! I purchased 3 of these traps, because I have a real mouse problem and can't use poison, because I raise chickens and turkeys. I put these out last Tuesday and have caught mice in 2 of the 3 traps every single day since and sometimes all 3 of them need to be emptied. And, it appears to be very quick, so really better than poison in my mind. I have already ordered more, so that I can put one in each of my coops, my garage and my house. Definitely worth the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked within two days I bought Victor Electronic Mouse Trap. Set the trap and followed the directions and within 48 hours your trap caught and killed the mouse. Please keep this product available to customers so they may have happier homes and apartments because all your competitors traps just do not work.

Q&A
FAQs

Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do I place the trap?

A: Place the trap along the wall where rodents primarily travel or where you have seen signs of rodent activity. For example, if you have a mouse in your house (super small droppings as compared to rat droppings, which are about the size of half a raisin).

Q: How do I bait it?/What should I use to bait it?

A: To bait the Electronic Mouse Trap, first make sure the trap is turned off. Place the bait along the back wall of the trap in the bait trough provided. We’ve carefully researched and recommend baiting with anything high in protein like peanut butter or hazelnut spread. Place a small amount of bait (the size of a pea) against the back wall of the kill chamber. Be sure to use gloves or a tool to bait so your scent is not transferred onto the trap. Please don’t place the bait or any other material directly on the metal plates as this will falsely trip the system.

Q: How do I clean the trap?

A: Through repeat use and baiting, dust and debris can settle on the metal plates inside the trap, so we recommend that you clean your trap between each use. To clean the trap:

  • Turn the unit to the off position and remove the batteries
  • Wipe the metal plates with a damp cloth (water or unscented dish detergent only)
  • Allow the Electronic Mouse Trap to air dry completely
  • Replace the batteries and turn the unit back on.

Q: Is the buzzing/clicking normal?

A: The buzzing and slight clicking sound with the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is normal during the start-up of the trap. When you first turn the trap on, the green light will blink momentarily and then you will hear the buzzing or a slight clicking sound indicating that you trap is working properly and starting up.

Q: Is it reusable?

A: The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is reusable. These traps are able to kill up to 100 mice per set of batteries.
