Sweeney’s® Mole & Gopher Poison Peanuts - 3 Pack
Stop lawn damage fast with the #1 selling mole and gopher bait. Sweeney's® Poison-Peanuts act as bait to attract moles and gophers. When ingested, the poison peanuts quickly kill the moles and gophers. The cleverly designed canister features a cone tip that allows users to punch holes in active tunnel surfaces for easy application of the pellets.
Application Tips to Help Win the War on Moles
Prior to treatment, determine which burrows are active by either pressing down a small section of the tunnel or removing a one inch section of the tunnel’s roof. Mark these sections and re-check in 24 to 48 hours. The burrow is considered active if the flattened runway has been raised up or if the roof has been repaired. Only treat active burrows.
After identifying active burrows, carefully punch a hole in the top of active tunnels with pointed end of cone, drop in a teaspoonful of the pellets, and carefully close the hole with sod or stone. Do not collapse the runway again or allow loose soil to cover the bait. After a few days, check the burrows to see if they are still active. If so, repeat treatment.

Works like it should. I like the ease of use with cone container.
Review RateWill continue to use as the product works.
I have been using this product for the past two years to control the moles in my yard. There seems to be a great influx of them early in the summer, so there are many hills to treat initially. But as they die off from peanuts---and they do--control becomes a bit easier as there are now fewer mounds and it is much easier to identify which are currently active by the fresh soil.

Review RateDON'T BUY!
After using nearly a package of Sweeney's poison peanuts, I have to say that, at best, it might be responsible for making a mole move from one location to another. I've used it for weeks, and the mole is still in the yard.Response From Victor®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
We are sorry to hear about this experience, John, and appreciate the feedback.
This product should be placed only in active tunnels. It does not repel moles. Our Consumer Relations Team will be glad to provide assistance. We can be reached at 1-855-5-VICTOR (1-855-584-2867).
Review RateI'll use it first next time!
I had tried 3 kinds of traps, a device that shoots blanks, smoke bombs and all I did was train the moles for war. I used this bait once in my front yard and in the backyard and haven't had a problem for 3 weeks. I followed the directions and sent them to wherever moles go when they die. I now have grass growing where the mounds once were and my lawn and garden are recovering. I live in the Pacific Northwest/Willamette Valley.
Review RateThis product is amazing and does a great job on rodent control!
We are using the Sweeney's Mole and Gopher Poison Peanuts to rid our three acres of Prairie Dogs. The product does a great job on these rodents. The problem is the rancher across the road who does not use this product. The prairie dogs continue to cross into our yard but thankfully for this product we are winning the war in our own yard!
Review Ratedidn't work at all
Didn't work in NC-moles didn't eat it at all. It brought more moles from across the street to visit my yard.Response From Victor®Lauren : Consumer Relations Representative
Thank you for sharing this experience. We apologize that the desired results were not seen when using this product. When placing the moleworms, it is important to ensure that they are located in active tunnels or runs. Also, the moleworm should not be covered by dirt as the mole may ignore it when passing through or repairing a tunnel.

Review RateThis stuff doesn\'t workThis stuff didn't work. I have bought and applied 3 bottles of it. Still have active tunnels. The vermin don't seem to eat it. Instead, they kick it out of the tunnel before repairing the roof line. I've had better luck with mouse "snap traps". At least with them I have caught 3 vermin before the pack decided they won't be fooled by my peanut butter bait.Response From Victor®Lauren : Consumer Relations RepresentativeHello Sue,
Thank you for sharing this experience. This bait is designed to be very palatable to both moles and gophers. After applying, we recommend checking active tunnels again for activity. If moles or gophers are still present, we recommend reapplying.
