I have a large yard and the expense of this product adds up quickly so I probably won't order it again. For a small yard or area it would be beneficial.Date published: 2014-03-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Amazon Review This is the only product we have found that actually deters moles from our yard. We have tried so many products, and this one actually works.Date published: 2014-02-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Amazon Review I see a lot of reviewers commenting that they see more activity after applying this product. My understanding is that it makes the ground taste bad, so they move to an untreated area and dig there. So seeing more tunneling activity is a good thing. It means they are trying to get away. I have been using this product for a few years now. At the first sign of voles or moles, I apply to the area I notice them, then after they have started trying to relocate, I treat my entire yard. The best time to treat the whole yard is on a day when there is a steady drizzle, so it soaks in and does not run off. It is not cheap and it does not last forever. But it has not let me down, and I am no longer watching my plants die as fast as I put them in the ground.Date published: 2014-01-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Amazon Review Sweeney's always works for repelling the Moles in the yard.....I dont want to kill them, just relocate them in the field behind the house.Date published: 2013-11-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Amazon Review Sweeney's always works for repelling the Moles in the yard.....I dont want to kill them, just relocate them in the field behind the house.Date published: 2013-11-12

- All About
Moles are helpful in that they remove damaging insects and grubs from lawns and gardens. Unfortunately, however, their burrowing habits can destroy grass, gardens and flower beds and tear up tree roots.
Gophers excavate soil from their tunnels, creating large, horseshoe-shaped mounds. Gopher mounds are typically larger than Mole hills with the entrance hole at an angle to the ground surface.
