ZAREBA® SYSTEMS LIMITED WARRANTY
Zareba (Red Snap’r, Blitzer and other energizers made by Woodstream warrants energizers with a mile rating under 20 miles for 12 months (a full year) from the date of purchase (or date or manufacture if proof of purchase is not provided) against defects in materials and workmanship, and from damage caused by lightning.
Energizers with a mile rating of 20 miles and over have a 24 month warranty (two years) total. Energizers with a mile rating of 50 miles or over have a 36 month warranty (three year) when registered on line at the time of purchase.
For any sized energizer, retain your receipt for proof of purchase or register your energizer on line at www.zarebasystems.com immediately after purchase. Also, please reference the web page for a list of Authorized Repair Centers and instructions on returning fence controllers for service.
Energizers which come equipped with the Storm Guard lightning protection module are warranted only when the Storm Guard is properly being used on the fencer.
TERMS APPLICABLE TO BOTH 30-DAY RETURN POLICY AND THE LIMITED WARRANTY
Neither the 30-day return policy nor the limited warranty applies to any defect caused by improper installation, misuse, product alterations, tampering, neglect, or any similar reason not related to product malfunctions or defects in the materials or workmanship of the product. The 30-Day return policy and the limited warranties are given only to the original purchaser of the product and not to any subsequent owners or to any other user or person when installed and used in accordance with the instructions found in the owner’s manual. No person is authorized to grant any warranty additional to or different from this written warranty.
To make a warranty claim, you must contact Woodstream Corp. at 800-800-1819 or www.zarebasystems.com regarding the defective product or parts during the warranty period or contact one of the Authorized Repair Centers listed on www.zarebasystems.com.
If you have not registered your energizer on line immediately after purchase, you may need to provide additional information such as, your name, mailing address, proof of your purchase date, and a description of the problem. If the defect is covered by the limited warranty, Woodstream Corp. or a repair station will repair or replace (at its option) the defective product or parts
NEITHER THE SELLER NOR THE MANUFACTURER SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM OR CAUSED BY ANY DEFECT, FAILURE, OR MALFUNCTION OF ANY PRODUCT.

SERIAL NUMBER INFORMATION
The serial number for all Woodstream Corp. fence energizers will go to a 10 digit serial number. The format for the 10 digit serial number is as follows…. XX XX XX XXXX Year Month Day Serial number
If no sales receipt is provided with the return, we will use the date of manufacture.

The squirrels were ravenously chewing on my windows. It was down to trying this or shooting them. This worked. I mounted 2 wires around the windows in parallel about 2 - 3 inches apart. One hot, one ground. The ground is attached to its own ground rod (not the house ground). The other wire is attached to the controller. Very simple. Plug it in and if the light is on its good. If the light is not on you are probably grounding out somewhere. I used 2 wires because the squirrel would probably not make ground from the window seal so to chew on my window he will have to touch both wires. I mounted the wire with galvanized finishing nails with plastic around the nails. The straw from an old 409 bottle (or any similar bottle) works well. Occasionally when it rains hard the light goes out because a bead of water grounds the hot circuit between the plastic covered nail and wire, but in a couple of hours its back on. The controller works great!

I have a large built painted steel enclosure where my cats can go outside and enjoy some outside sun and air. After I built the enclosure 10X20 and 8 feet high I was amazed how fast my cats climbed over and out. What to do? I electrified the enclosure about 4 feet up. I used the Zereba K9. It was simple and fast. I could not rely on the cats actually grounding on the ground, so I had to run a separate ground wire and placed it about three inches from the hot wire.
