Within 24 hours I had trapped three nuisance squirrels. No lost bait, no misfires, no escapes. The trap "fires" with a loud bang and latches securely. No chance of escape through the entry door. The trap was simple to set and easy to release the trapped squirrels. A simple, but well designed and constructed live trap. As I was writing this review, I heard the trap fire outside my back door. I now have four squirrels with no escapes or lost bait. Way to go Havahart!!!

This trap was extremely easy to set up. It caught a squirrel within the first hour it was set. I was easily able to carry him to my car, and transport him out of town. When I opened the closed end, he jumped out and ran off. The trap appears to be well built, and was a snap to use.
