Dr. T’s Nature Products® Snake-A-Way® Snake Repelling Granules effectively repel garter snakes, rattlesnakes and other species from areas they are not wanted. This granular snake repellent is applied around the perimeter of the area you want to protect. Snake-A-Way® is detected by the snake’s Jacobson’s Organ (auxiliary olfactory sense organ) and disrupts its sensory reception. This disorientation causes the snake to slither away unharmed, in search of fresh air. Wearing gloves, apply the granules to the perimeter of the area that is to be protected. Place bands 4-5 inches wide to repel garter snakes, 8-12 inches wide to repel rattlers. For yard application, sprinkle Snake-A-Way® throughout the area within the perimeter. When odor becomes faint, simply reapply. This product contains naphthalene (7%) and sulfur (28%) as its active ingredients. The only EPA-registered granular snake repellent product, Snake-A-Way® has greater than 91% repellency rate for rattlesnakes and garter snakes. The efficacy of this product makes it an indispensable resource in keeping your property free of snakes! Environmentally responsible, this product is safe when used as directed. Dr. T’s Nature Products® offers a variety of innovative solutions to effectively control nuisance animals and insects by providing powerful, natural products for your specific needs.

What It Controls Dr. T’s Nature Products® Snake-A-Way® Snake Repelling Granules is a granular snake repellent that is applied around the perimeter of the area to be protected. How It Works When snakes come in contact with Snake-A-Way®, they are deterred because it interferes with their sensory reception system. The snake flicks its tongue and places the forks of his tongue into the roof of his mouth where the Jacobson's organ is located. Scents and vapor molecules are picked up by the snake giving it very specific details of what is around it. Snake-A-Way® temporarily shuts this sensory reception down, leaving the snake disoriented, causing the snake to leave the area to seek fresh air. Residual protection lasts for 2 to 3 months and should be reapplied after heavy rain.
