The original wood-based wire snap trap, the Victor® Easy Set® Mouse Trap provides instant rodent control and is safe for household use. For effective mouse control, each trap comes pre-baited with a large, scented plastic ‘swiss cheese’ trip pedal. The large pedal is easily activated – both by rodent interest in food and through accidental contact as mice scamper across the floor – to ensure maximum trapping.
Once a rodent triggers the pedal, the mouse trap immediately springs closed to eliminate the pest on contact. It can then be easily disposed of for quick and clean removal. The traps require no chemicals or poisons, so they are an ideal mouse control device for use around food, water, children and pets.
With superior quality and effectiveness, the Victor® mouse trap has become the #1 selling trap in the world - with over 1 billion sold. Also, Victor® mouse traps are the professionals’ trap of choice.
Victor® Easy Set® Mouse Traps are the only traps constructed from environmentally responsible, Forest Stewardship Council certified wood. Made in the USA! 20 traps per bundle.
The disposable mouse traps are safe for use around food, water, children and pets. Victor® Easy Set® Mouse Traps are perfect for use anywhere in the home. These mouse traps should be placed where rodents travel, such as along walls at 2 to 3 foot intervals.

64 mice killed since 10/2008. These traps NEVER MISS. I glue the traps to paint sticks so my wife doesn't have to get close to the dead mice, and we use them only one time. That may be the reason some of the other folks are having trouble with them. In my ongoing battle to rid my house, I've renovated and sprayed the walls with foam on 80% of the house. Still having trouble sealing the remaining 20% and won't be able to access walls until I demo the basement. In any event, woke up this morning to the TomCat brand imatation which missed one! The Victors are the only ones which work EVERY TIME, but they're not always easy to find in stores. I long for the day I never have to use your product! : )

Five Stars For Woodstream Customer Service October 12, 2012
Reviewer: Baltzer
Recently, I purchased, locally, a 4-pack of the Easy Set Snap Traps but was very disapppointed. (See my recent one-star review.) At the end of that review I questioned if Woodstream stands behind its products. Shortly after, I received an email inviting me to contact Customer Service and that Woodstream would replace the traps with the original metal-pad traps. I called and Woodstream did send replacements. My opinion of the Easy Set traps is still only one star but my opinion of Woodstream's Customer Service deserves five stars.

The most important rule for the effective use of traps is good trap placement location based on thorough inspections to determine the high-activity areas of rodents.
Number of Traps The most common trapping mistake is using of too few traps. For only a couple of mice, a dozen traps are not too many. For severe mouse infestations, traps should be placed close together in double sets in areas of high activity.
Importance of the First Night Statistics show that more mice are trapped on the first night than on any other night.
Offer Multiple Bait Choices When many rodents are involved, different types of baits should be used. Individuals in a rodent population forage for different types of food.
Q:How do I keep my pets away from the mouse/rat traps? A: Place the trap inside a small cardboard box that has enough height to allow the trap to snap. Cut a 3" x 3 opening on two opposite sides of the box. Place the box with a baited trap in a known rodent path. more»
Q:How many of mice are born at once? How do I know that
I've trapped them all? A: It’s practically impossible to tell when you've trapped them all. You should continue to trap as long as you see mice or notice signs of activity. The most apparent sign of an infestation is fresh droppings. more»
Q:What is the most common mistake in trapping? A: The true number of rodents present is underestimated. As a result, not enough traps are used. Although you have killed a few rodents, the remainder of the population continues to multiply. more»
