Protect your lawn from moles, gophers, voles, armadillos and other burrowing animals with this powerful, all-natural repellent. The mole pellets contain a concentrated formula of 20% castor oil – twice the industry standard – to effectively drive pests from yards and gardens. Non-toxic and poison free, the repellent is safe to use around children and pets and will not harm grass and plants.
After applying the repellent, water the product into the ground with a sprinkler to activate the granules. This makes the ground smell and taste unpleasant so the pests search for a more favorable environment in which to live.
A cost-effective repellent, each 10- lb. bag provides 10,000 sq. feet of coverage.
View video for tips on how to easily and effectively repel moles, gophers and other burrowing animals with Sweeney’s® Mole & Gopher Granular Repellent:
Effective elimination of moles – how it works Sweeney’s Mole & Gopher Repellent works by driving moles out of yards and gardens in stages. Avoid treating the entire lawn in one application – this will cause moles to tunnel aimlessly in any direction to try and escape the repellent. Applying the granules over the lawn in stages will steadily herd moles away from your ‘good’ mole-free lawn.
How to apply:
Before applying the repellent, locate the active mole areas to determine which way to move moles out of your yard.
Day 1, spread the granules over the first area and water-in with a sprinkler for approximately 20 minutes. Watering allows the concentrated granules to penetrate deeply into the lawn.
Day 2, spread the granules over the second area; water-in the same area as Day 1, plus the second area to get the mole moving. Each day's watering allows granules to penetrate more deeply.
Day 3, spread granules over the third area. Water-in the same area as Days 1 and 2, plus the third area to keep the mole moving.
Day 4, spread the granules over the fourth area. Water-in the same area as Days 1, 2, and 3, plus the fourth area to move the mole out of your yard!
Hint: Punch holes in mole tunnels at 5 foot intervals and shake a small amount of granules directly into the tunnel and close the hole.

Sweeney's always works for repelling the Moles in the yard.....I dont want to kill them, just relocate them in the field behind the house.

Tried everything from poison to solar spikes to sprays...this is what finally worked. You have to follow the directions to the letter though. It's a little expensive, especially if you have a large yard, and it has to be reapplied several times a year (about every two months for me). But as a bonus, it also drove away the armadillos and opossums that were digging in the yard, so I'll keep using it.
From reading the other reviews here, it looks like it works for some yards and not for others, so you'll have to decide if you want to make the investment of time and money to see if it works for you, but for me, so far it has been worth it

I am plagued with gophers and find that this product does work. It was great finding something that actually worked with the little varmints.

It got rid of the moles that were destroying my driveway. No smell, very easy to apply. I am very happy with this product.

I used this last year on my garden and yard and it worked well. As the package stated, I saw a lot more activity right at first but it was because they were trying to get out of the area where this was spread. You have to be diligent to reapply it about every 6 weeks but it did help. I live in the country so the added bonus was it also kept the squirrels and rabbits out of my garden too.

This stuff works fairly well. Our yard & flower beds were a mess with mole runs & piles of dirt. Applied this in the spring and again later. A good rain or soaking will get it into the soil. We only have a few runs now. Good stuff.

Only 4 stars due to cost - you do have to reapply but found this to work great. My neighbors have moles, I use to, but they did not cross the line where our yards meet. Neighbor has 4 hills now - December but warmer than normal - I have none. I'm out of the product but will purchase more on Amazon as my Lowes is out of stock on the product and I'm not willing to wait - hate the little critters.

This is the only thing that has kept the moles and gophers out of my yard. You have to apply it gradually, don't do the whole yard at once, or they WILL go crazy and tunnel madly. Those critters destroy every shrub and small tree--moles make the tunnels, voles move in and gnaw everything off at the roots. I gave it only 4 stars because it is expensive, and has to be reapplied 4 or 5 times a year. I used to buy it at the local Ace Hardware, but the people working there aren't very nice, so I'm done going out of my way to give them my business in real life. Amazon will bring it right to my door.

Had a nasty vole problem that we couldn't solve. The repellant worked just great in the back yard with just one application. The front yard is proving more stubborn but the damage is decreasing so I am hopeful we just have to be patient.
