I noticed a several cave (camel)crickets in my basement along with centipedes. I read that the cave crickets are a favorite meal of the centipedes! I put down several of the insect magnet traps, and to my surprise, I trapped about 40 cave crickets over a month and many centipedes. I had a serious problem, and I didn't even know it! I highly recommend these traps. They do work very well and are very reasonable priced. They accomplished what an exterminator could not!

These things are the best thing I've found out there since... well you know. I had no idea there were that many different kinds of little bugs crawling around our floors and some pretty weird looking ones at that. These babies catch'm all and (if you care to look) display them just inside the box. What a great idea and safe around pets too. I recommend them to everyone that hates bugs, especially scorpions! Yeah, they trap them too!

Been having issues with crickets, I usually have one or two a week and I catch them in a bucket and toss them outside. With all the rain we've been having I'm seeing 3-5 a day. For the 3-5 I see, I worry about the ones I don't see and am worried that they're going to start multiplying in my house.
To catch the explorers I bought these traps. Placed a few at the well known areas and they're working great. I really don't want to kill them but now it's to the point where I need to protect my property.
Know that you really can't rely on one method for dealing with pests. I have purchased EcoPCO for around cracks of doors and windows and Ortho Home Defense MAX granules to sprinkle 2' away from my foundation.
Yesterday was the first day I've come home and no little chirpers were waiting for me on the downstairs steps. I know I may have a straggler here or there but I am hopeful for the end to such an annoyance! Thanks Victor! Your sticky traps are exactly what I need for the critters that are already inside my home while I deal with securing my perimeter with harsher stuff.

After dealing with crappy sprays, I decided to give these glue traps a try. I caught a hobo spider after the first day in my garage and now have numerous other small and large spiders. These do a great job and I plan on buying more. Highly recommended.

There are spiders and bugs anywhere you go and I can't stand most of them especially spiders. I have children and a dog and need something that I can put out of sight (or even in sight) and never have to worry about. Sprays and chemicals are not the thing for me, so I decided to try these traps. Amazingly they actually work!! They have caught more than just spiders and I am extremely happy I purchased these traps. I will get them again in the future once the first ones are full.

These traps are amazing, especially for spiders. There isn't really anything else that effectively stops spiders poison wise, but placing this in corners and near doors has allowed me to catch 100+ insects within a month. I haven't noticed any increase in the amount of bugs getting in my house because of these, and have certainly noticed a lack of living ones (they die inside the traps). The traps have caught tiny baby spiders to full grown adult cockroaches, and sadly, even a full grown gecko that got into my house near the door.

These have trapped all of the occasional 6 legged visitors in the basement and entrance hallway. You can see how many visitors, too.

I'll make this short - these traps work exactly as advertised. Easy to assemble and place, and they simply fill up with bugs - no mess, etc... Great product for intended use.

We just recently purchased a new home and had A LOT of crickets in the basement. I put this product in the basement for 5 days and checked them and 3 out of 5 had 4-6 crickets (and some had a fly) in each! I was amazed! I replaced those traps with new ones and hope to have caught all of them. Highly Recommend!

We tried using these Insect Magnets a year ago with great results. They are basically a next generation of the old "Roach Motels"- a glue trap with an insect attractant inside. We initially tried them to combat scorpions since most poisons are only moderately effective on them due to their bodyweight. The product worked like a charm. Two unintended benefits we noticed were that: (1) Since they trap almost all bugs, they give you an idea of what type of bugs- and how many- are in the area that you use the trap in. In our case, we were surprised that almost no bugs were trapped in the kitchen, but many were trapped in the laundry room(where we later upgraded the weather stripping). (2) The attractant really works well. After spotting a scorpion near a dresser(eek!) we placed a trap next to the sighting. About an hour later, it was safely stuck in the trap. The only cons we found were that the traps are a little oddly joined into pairs, the attractant only seems to last for 2-3 months, and after the plastic packaging is removed any unused traps begin to attract bugs to them. Overall a very good product, especially without the use of pesticides.

I used to purchase these at my local 99 cent store. They stopped carrying them and I was devastated. I tried purchasing a lesser brands motel and they were ineffective. I then looked up the email address on one of my boxes and discovered that the name changed from roach magnet to insect magnet, I was hesitant about purchasing because many times when a name changes the effectiveness can delcine. I was glad I ordered, they are just as effective as they were before the name change. Each time, I order larger amounts so I will never be without, shipping is super fast as well. Please never take these off the market.

I could not find these anywhere in town anymore. They really do attract cockroaches of all sizes and shapes without using poison. Do feel bad about them getting stuck in the glue, it's a long slow death for them :(
THESE WORK!August 01, 2010
I buy these by the dozen for my cricket problem. Especially in my attached garage. The traps fill up with crickets within a day or two and I believe the trapped crickets may be deterring others. Only wish they came in a bigger size glue board than the "cigarette pack" size!

I've been using Victor's Roach Magnets for years. If I see one of those ugly things, I just put a trap there and within a day or so, they are usually in the trap. There is no smell. They are easy to use. Seems like 2 times a year we have a problem. Not any more!

I just reordered more of these traps. I originally bought them to catch the silverfish, spiders and crickets that had taken residence. Was I surprised to find some little roaches as well as some unidentified bugs in the traps along with the crickets, spiders and silverfish. I will be putting out some Combat gel for the roaches too. Victor and Combat are 2 products that really work. Thanks

These traps really work. We live in the country and seem to have a lot of insects. Currently, the pests are centipedes. Last fall it was millipedes. These traps have worked the best for me. The boxes are full of spiders and insects.

We bought these mostly for house centipedes after moving into a home in the suburbs. Some reviewers have complained about ineffectiveness on roaches - I can't comment on how effective they are on them since we don't seem to have roaches.
For us, they have caught many centipedes, millipedes, ants, silverfish, spiders and beetles. They're easy to put out and seem effective for around 2 months, at which point we replace them since they can be fairly full in "high traffic" areas like the garage or basement.

Your product is safe, highly effective and easy to use. OSH used to carry this product and switched to an ineffective and disgustingly more complicated product. I complained about their corporate decision. Thank you for your product, which I have to order on line.

We have a finished walk-out basement. I had only seen a couple of insects and put traps in every room as a precaution, before the arrival of guests. To my amazement, and mortification, I am constantly replacing the traps which are catching an unbelievable variety of insects. I do not know where they hide. Because we have cats, I am pleased that these traps are not toxic, and that I do not have to spray toxic products on the carpet and along the baseboards. I realize that this will not eliminate the problem entirely, but it also will not poison us or our pets.
Thanks again for a wonderful productNovember 27, 2008

Today I Placed my 7th order for your products. I continue to rely on VICTOR® Pest products because they are the best on the market. They have controlled my Pest problem, namely roaches.
I am very pleased that they are poison free, not only is it saving the environment from un-needed pesticides, it's also helping my home be safer for my pets. The Roach spray is the best on the market, it starts to kill almost instantly.
I have told my friends about your products, and they too have been buying them. I have also recently been purchasing the roach traps, which work wonderful. They do not give off the gluey type smell like the cheap "Roach Motels".

I just want you to know how very pleased I have been with this product. Approximately 15 months ago we had a problem with roaches. We had an exterminator come in and after 6 months we were not pleased with the results.
I saw your product and decided to give it a try. In the first 2 months the traps filled up in a matter of days. I was constantly replacing them. Now I check them once a month and to my satisfaction they are usually empty.
Horde of Roaches Were Living With Us... Not Anymore!November 27, 2008
Reviewer: Christy B.
When we moved outside the city limits, we found that we had a horde of roaches living in the general area. We were infested with them. I tried different kinds of sprays but I didn't see any real progress. Then I started using the ROACH MAGNET® in my house after my mother told me about them.
I will never again use sprays to kill roaches in the open. It took about 1 month for me to see just how many roaches we had. And the fact that they multiply as fast as you can kill them doesn't help either. My house is not roach free now but I only see a small roach or evidence of a couple of them only once or twice a week.
I do however put out the ROACH MAGNET® faithfully ever time I see the evidence. I have small children and they know not to touch to boxes.
I commend the idea genius for this pest control idea. It really works.
Magnets....April 22, 2009
These are one of the best items we have used. We live in the country, surrounded by woods and we have spiders, water bugs and a few others that tend to stick around all the time.
The only draw back is checking to see if they are full..and seeing all the bugs in there. Would recommend especially since there is no poison involved.
