The original wood-based wire snap trap, the Victor® Easy Set® Mouse Trap provides instant rodent control and is safe for business use. The large pedal is easily activated – both by rodent interest in food and through accidental contact as rats scamper across the floor. The trap may be baited to improve or enhance catch.
Once a rodent triggers the pedal, the mouse trap immediately springs closed to eliminate the pest on contact. It can then be easily disposed of for quick and clean removal. The traps require no chemicals or poisons, so they are an ideal mouse control device for use around food, water, children and pets.
With superior quality and effectiveness, the Victor® mouse trap has become the #1 selling trap in the world - with over 1 billion sold. Also, Victor® mouse traps are the professionals’ trap of choice.
Victor® Easy Set® Mouse Traps are the only traps constructed from environmentally responsible, Forest Stewardship Council certified wood. Made in the USA!
The disposable mouse traps are safe for use around food, water, children and pets. Victor® Easy Set® Mouse Traps are perfect for use anywhere at your business. These mouse traps should be placed where rodents travel, such as along walls at 2 to 3 foot intervals.

I put a small amount of peanut butter on the yellow part of the trap, set it, and placed the bait area against the wall and the trap perpendicular to the wall, and the next morning, a mouse! We have two little dogs so placement was critical (they love peanut butter) and I placed them out of reach of them. I guessed the little mouse was hiding in the pantry where our water heater was behind so I set two traps, one on each side of the door exiting to the kitchen. I set one trap by the garbage can and one on top of our kitchen hutch where the doggie treats rest (all had mouse poop signs). Heh heh it's days were numbered (to one!) One point, be aware these traps have two settings, firm and sensitive, sensitive is a monster to handle but to me was worth the extra hassle- just be careful! Good luck.

I have been using these professionally since they came out. The secret with trapping is with placement....placement of the bait and placement of the trap. You should only apply a small amount of fresh peanut butter on the trigger so the mice have to engage the trap to get it, and you should always place the traps perpendicular to the wall so that the trigger is against the wall. You can also place and object over the trap similar to a lean to to enhance the effectiveness of the trap. I use these all the time and would recommend them highly to pros and homeowners alike. D.
