Victor® Multi-Kill™ Electronic Mouse Trap, 5-Pack
The Victor® Multi-Kill™ Mouse Trap eliminates your rodent problems quickly and easily. If the trap is baited, placed in the rodent's path and turned on, the trap will do the rest! Unlike traditional snap traps, the Victor® Multi-Kill™ uses a high-voltage, quick and humane shock that kills the mouse in seconds. The Victor® Multi-Kill™ is as efficient as it is effective, killing up to ten mice per setting and 150 mice per set of 4 "C" batteries. This trap offers a 100% kill rate – meaning there are no escapes and you can rid yourself of a rodent problem in one single night.
How It Works
The Victor® Multi-Kill™ Mouse Trap is equipped with two points of entry located on the back of the trap. The staircase design leads the mouse into the Shock N' Drop Chamber where the bait is located. Once the rodent is inside, the patented tunnel design and beveled columns hold the mouse in place and prevent any escapes. To reach the bait, the mouse must step onto the metal plates, completing the circuit and initiating a quick, humane shock killing the mouse in less than 3 seconds. After the mouse is killed, the Shock N' Drop Chamber automatically rotates and deposits the mouse into the collection drawer. The Victor® Multi-Kill™ Mouse Trap automatically resets. The light located above the power switch will blink green for up to seven days to indicate a kill, a yellow light when the collection drawer is full and a red light when the trap is low on batteries. To dispose of the mice, slide open the collection drawer and dump the mouse directly into the trash for a hygienic and safe, no-touch, no-view disposal. The trap can kill up to 10 mice per setting and 150 mice per set of four "C" batteries.
Easy to Use
The Victor® Multi-Kill™ Mouse Trap is easy to use. Open the kill chamber door located on top of the Multi-Kill™ Mouse Trap. Bait the trap along the back wall or in the bait trough provided using a small amount of peanut butter, chocolate, hazelnut spread or anything high in protein. Be sure to not over bait. Only a pea size amount of bait is needed. Open the battery compartment and unwrap the 4 "C" batteries that are included. Properly reinsert the batteries and close the battery compartment. Place the trap where you have seen signs of rodent activity or along the wall where rodents primary travel. The back of the trap with the stairs should be placed flush against the wall. Once the trap is placed, turn it on. A green light will flash once indicating the trap is working properly.
The Victor® Multi-Kill™ Mouse Trap features a built-in safety switch that automatically deactivates the trap whenever the kill chamber door is opened. The trap has no poisons or chemicals and is safe to use anywhere in the home. The Victor® Multi-Kill™ is extremely economical and can be used for years to ensure effective mouse control.
We had this stored in our garage for the winter. When we grabbed it for the warmer weather there was a dead mouse in it. Proof that this thing really works in any environment!

Ok. I purchase this for our newly built home. We were surprised to see mouses roaming around our home. I tried the poison cubes, a little cautious to use these because we have 3 little girls. I also tried the "traditional spring loaded mouse trap"....ngeh! nothing. So I saw this. Great reviews. I received it fairly fast (esp. since I live in Hawaii). Ok, I followed instructions and went a step further to put little gob of peanut butter up the little steps leading to the "electrical room"...didnt get anything for a week. Then on the 2nd week, a light blinked, meaning to say something got caught. YES! it worked. Cleaned it out and lock and load for the next invitational. Yes, it is a little pricey. But it works.

This thing is unbelievable. We caught over a dozen mice in the spring over a 3 day period. Best part is that the cleanup is real easy. Just dump the drawer and make sure the bait is still good for the next round. I'd estimate you could probably get 8 small mice in the drawer or 4-5 average sized ones.
I had the best success with peanut butter. I also put a small amount on the steps to lure them in.
The only thing to warn of is to make sure it is in an easily monitored location and that you check it at least daily. It can get pretty ripe if one is in there for a few days. Fortunately the blinking light makes it simple to identify if you have a kill or not.
Works Great When Properly UsedApril 04, 2014
This worked great for me. I have a few tips.
1. Place bait(I prefer PB) on back wall of kill chamber, and a tiny amount on stairs leading up to kill chamber.
2. Make sure the light briefly turns green and you hear a short buzzing noise when turning the M260 on. This shows it is actually on and working.
3. I would suggest checking for dead mice on avg. once per week. More if you have a lot of mice, less if you dont. I would say check at least every 2 weeks.
4. Make sure the M260 rear stairs area is up against a wall in an area the mice frequent.
5. Make sure you take away any other food source for the mice inside your home/garage etc... You want the bait n the M260 to be what they want to eat.
6. If no results after 1 to 2 weeks, move trap to another area, using the above tips.
7. If you are trying to catch Squirrels, Chipmunks, Rats etc.. this trap WILL NOT work.

We've tried all types of traps but have never been as impressed as we have been with viktor multi kill electronic. It does what it says, and very effectively, and efficiently. No one likes having mice, or having to kill them, but this is truly the best way to handle it. The first day I put it out, I caught two mice. Then a few more the first week. Now we catch one every once in a while. This thing really works. We have a dog so we can't have the other styles of trap, si thus is great. There is an occasional false alarm, but its no big deal. Buy this if you have rodents, you won't be disappointed. Well worth the money.

The first night I had a multi kill. Trap is easy to set up and disposal of remains is a snap. Highly recommend this trap.
Dubious At First - Then Wow!February 27, 2014
I live in Barcelona and ordered the traps via Amazon in the US. I have chickens and had recently seen a few mice running around their feed area and didn't want them around. I used a standard trap for a few days but when I checked the trap, they would often not be dead, and not a clean, humane kill. I stopped that practice and ordered this trap with no expectations. The first 24 hours I did not catch anything, and thought I had made a bad investment, but on the second day I found 5 mice in the morning, reset the trap and two hours later caught another 10. I did not know I had that many mice living in the coop area. So very pleased with the results today and think this trap is amazing.

It does just what it says it does. I've been catching 4 or 5 mice a week ever since I set this thing up (we live in a farm house ... lots of mice). You'd thin they'd learn, but they don't ... they just keep coming.

We have a serious mouse problem in an old office with about 15 employees.... In 1 night it caught 4 of them and worked flawlessly, this is so much easier than setting traps, even the nice plastic ones! Handle it with gloves and change locations every couple days, the time this has saved me from rebaiting traps alone pays for it.
Amazon ReviewJanuary 12, 2014
We keep cattle cubes, sweet feed for the calves, goat feed, chicken feed, bird seed, and deer corn all in the barn. This past summer the mice population exploded everywhere in our area, and I have been fighting them with everything I could, but just not making much of a dent in the population. while I know that poision is effective I don't use it because of the birds and cats.that find the dead mice outside. So, regular traps are left sprung, licked clean or bait stolen, sticky traps sometimes catch something, but mostly not. The cats are not keeping up. I even have one we call a killing machine, but they need help.
The first three days we had this we caught six mice. It is baited with a little peanut butter on the steps and a few grains of deer corn which seems to be the favorite thing in the barn. I must say we are amazed at how fast it worked.
My only complaint, is that the drawer has a hook that seems an attempt to catch it at the back of the trap and it makes it difficult to open the drawer. I have to pull quite hard to get it open, but for the job that is is doing on the mice in the barn, I will tolerate that because of the job that it is doing on the mice. I can't wait to see what it does after a month or so.

We purchased a farm that is active with MANY mice. We would see them scampering in our metal building, not now. It did take days to place this bigger trap in a place where the mice would actually enter. They did not seem to like it, but only the small ones. We finally found the spot. Blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink.... 10 mice trapped and dead. If you are not planning of checking traps hourly or daily, I would suggest this trap. If you do have a SUPER busy mouse route, then I would use the money to buy more of the little traps.

We live in the country and always have an issue with field mice coming in the house when the weather gets cold. Checking this trap daily, I had my doubts at first as we were getting nothing. Then the very first day the temp. dropped, well let's just say I think we got an entire family of the little beasts. 6 in the trap in one day and plenty of room for more. We did have to experiment with the bait and settled for dog food. It is the food they would most likely find in the place where we put the trap, and a bonus is that there is no real mess to clean up.
We purchased both the small and large size traps but quickly decided that this one is far better as it holds more, is MUCH easier to clean up.

I have such a mouse problem in the garage that they literally destroyed the fuel line in my old corvette waiting restoration..AND made beds in the trunk carpeting...with many dying there for a really nice aroma! I bought 2 of these from another place for the cellar years ago and they are the ONLY thing that really works! We tried one that repels by sound for $80, and it's so loud it could only go in the garage......and still, when we added this new one with peanut butter bait...we had 2 dead mice within a day!!! If you have pets, you don't dare use poisons as you never know where they'll die and you could kill your pets, these are silent and electrocute instantly...you just dump dead mice out and refill the bait..easy on mice and on you ! We now have one in the cellar of two homes and one in each garage. They seem expensive but much cheaper than replacing electrical or other problems they cause by nesting!

This was my second purchase of the Multi-Kill because the first one I bought worked so well. The first time I used the Multi-Kill it captured and humanely killed 6 mice. As long as you keep the batteries fresh and clean the trap on a regular basis it pretty much takes care of itself. I can't say enough good things about this product. Well worth the high price.

You have to get this if you hate jacking with mice. It's the best thing I ever bought when it comes to dealing with the mice. Every year we get a few mice and I can't figure out where they are coming from but I live in a large open area with flat land surrounding me. I put a small amount of creamy peanut butter in chamber inside of unit and then just smear peanut butter residue on the small staircase. I then place the trap against the wall with the staircase facing the wall. The next day there is a mouse in the little chamber in front, remove tray and dispose of mouse then reset. I have used this for 2 winters now and changed the batteries once each year. This works great for small time mouse problem without messing with traditional traps and other failed attempts. I use this now and I catch a few in the beginning of winter and then I don't have a problem until the next year. One of these days I will find where they are coming in at. It will show a blinking green light on the front when something has been caught. Easy cleanup and works better than snap traps.

This is great! My first night setting this, 2 kills. Night #2, 1 kill. Night #3 empty. Night #4 4 kills. Night #5 1 kill. We have deer mice! I baited the trap with peanut butter and put some on the steps to draw them into the chamber and it seriously works like a charm! Anyone with a mouse problem, buy this. I bought this because I have 2 small children (3 &1) and a dog so poisons are not an option for us and neither are snap traps. We generally live in harmony (unavoidable with 1886 home) with our critter friends, but their droppings have been all over my kitchen.

This trap has given me the first mouse free winter. We always had mice in the crawlspace and in the walls, and on occasion one would die in a wall and smell forever. This trap caught 32 mice over the 3 month period, and we had zero mice in the wall, and no mouse smell in the crawlspace. You need to inspect it once a week, throw out dead mice and clean it thoroughly. I clean mine with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol, as I think there are specs of urine in the upper section as the mice get zapped and killed, and the mice may get alarmed by that smell and not enter the trap after a few got killed. Wear disposable gloves, clean it well. Also, pus trace amounts of peanut butter on the little stairs - this makes all the difference. I bought the second one for my RV. Well worth the money, even as much as it costs.

I bought this because of all the good reviews. At first I thought it wasn't going to work. I had it placed in one spot with no luck even baited the stairs. Moved it to another location in the room (In my kitchen) and started catching them. Let's just say I had no idea I had so many mice in my house. Killed 5 mice in one day. Glad you don't hear them squill..my kids say all you hear is a buzzing sound when it kills one I haven't heard it yet just seen the results. Can't say how happy I am that I bought this. Plan on buying another one for my garage.

I had 2 instances of buying this trap from a hardware store, both products were defective. I returned both and called Victor customer service , they were so incredibly helpful. apologetic about the problems we had and they sent me another one to try cost free , well the 3rd time was a charm. Works just as stated, mess free, caught babies and hopefully the mama. I can't say enough about the integrity of this company and how they stand by their product.

I ave this in my garage. You need to put the peanut butter going up the steps, and a dab at both ends of the shock box. Once I'd done that I caught ten mice in one night. IMHO this is the most efficient way to exterminate mice, and no nasty mess. I haven't found it to go through batteries quickly, as some reviewers mentioned. When I had exterminators out, it was over $500 to rid my garage of mice. This though expensive for a trap, does the same job as the professionals, for a lot less money, and you can use it as needed. Love the fact that it catches multiple mice.

My mouse problem was so bad in one coop my rooster didn't want to sleep in it anymore. They were chewing on him at night he's still healing. Within 4 days of setting it up, I'd killed 20 mice and they're just gone now. I highly recommend this for anyone with infestations, no poison, it can't hurt pets so it's safe around them. I bought the 3 pack it was the best price.

i live in an older building, where mice just seem to appear no matter what i've tried, including noise devices, sticky traps and snap traps. i was so desperate i even rigged my own trap with a greased trash can and paper towel rolls, which, needless to say, failed like everything else. this is the first and only device that's worked to kill the mice i've seen, and the setup of the trap means that disposing of them is quick and easy. would HIGHLY recommend this trap to anyone, even if your problems with mice are only occasional.

All right, cowboy…you got a problem with mice and creepy crawlies and other vermin infesting your house? Sick of poisons? Hate trying to reset those stupid snap traps? Well, for just a hundred bucks, you can get your hands on the Victor Multi-Kill Electronic Mouse Trap.
This trap kills ten mice per setting, and a hundred and fifty mice over the life of its set of four C batteries. Two mice can enter this trap at once, but neither one’s getting out…alive, anyway. The operation is simple enough–just bait the trap, load the batteries, turn it on and then, once the collection drawer (yes of COURSE it has a collection drawer) is full of dead mice, you just take the whole package outside and dump them off. Then, bring it back in and repeat, though if you actually manage to fill up the collection bin in less than like six months you may want to just consult an exterminator outright because you’ve got a LOT of mice.
“Build a better mousetrap” isn’t just for kids playing board games any more – with folks like Victor taking it this seriously, we may well run out of mice eventually.

I have been experiencing mouse/shrew/vole problems for the last year. The snap-traps I baited with peanut butter were only semi-effective.
So I bought the Victor Multi-Kill Electronic Mouse Trap and added a little peanut butter against the back wall, and within the first 12 hours it had killed two mice. Twenty-fours after that, another three mice were killed. At this rate, my mouse/shrew/vole problem will be taken care of within the next week to 10 days.
I am very pleased with the product and I highly recommend it to anyone who has an indoor mouse/shrew/vole problem.

I bought this unit last year in October. I used it all Winter. The light on the unit never worked, but the unit did. I was catching a mouse daily, if not more. Come Spring, I stored it away and pulled it out this month. I put brand new batteries in and nothing happened. No buzzing, no quick light flicker like before and no power to the plates. I did the cleaning before I put it away and again when I pulled it out. I have emailed the company, tonight being the third time with no response. I was really considering getting a 3 pack for the rest of the house since they worked so well and made me feel comfortable sleeping here but at this point, I just don't know what to do. Please respond soon, last year they were in my bed before I bought this and were gone once I started using it. I REALLY don't want them back in our beds!! I just want a working machine and the comfort of knowing my purchases here will be protected. I will resubmit or update info if I hear anything. :(

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Victor® Multi-KillTM Electronic Mouse Trap (model # M260).
We would like to touch base with you in order to determine the cause of the issue you experienced with your trap. Once the trap is baited the Victor® Multi-KillTM Electronic Mouse Trap works by leading mice over three electrified metal plates. A common issue that we find is through usage these plates acquire dirt and debris. It is recommended that between uses you clean your trap. To clean your trap:
Remove the batteries.
Wipe metal plates with a damp cloth (water only, no soap or detergent, this will act as a deterrent to the mice).
Allow your trap to air dry and replace the batteries.
We want to ensure that you have a working product. If there is anything further we can do for you, or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at the following:
First, one of the 3 traps I ordered was DOA, I got a replacement right away from Victor. Over the span of months I caught one mouse. The Tin cat did a little better, which I deployed after the electronic traps did almost nothing, but then the mice figured out how to get out of the tin cat. Only the Havahart trap seems to be foolproof, but it is only good for one mouse.

Dear Tom, Thank you for taking the time to submit an online review for the Victor® Multi-Kill™ Electronic Mouse Trap (model M260). We are sorry to hear that you have not seen the desired results using these traps.
With our electronic traps, it’s important that the metal plates inside the trap be clear of any dust or debris. To clean the plates, we recommend that you turn the unit off, remove the batteries, wipe the metal plates with a damp cloth (no soap or detergent as this will repel the rodents), allow the trap to air dry completely, insert the batteries and turn the unit back on. We also recommend that you use a small amount of peanut butter as bait and you place it on the back wall of the trap, and not on the metal plates.
Above all else, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This product does have a one year warranty. Please do not hesitate to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-5-VICTOR (1-855-584-2867).
I purchased 4 of the multikill traps because of an nfestation in the area. The small one kill traps work great (the black ones) , but the large multi kill traps are sorely over rated. The batteries that were sent with my purchase were all dead, and I have not been able to purchase any C batteries that work, to make the darn things work. These traps are totally useless ! I haven't caught a single mouse in spite of finding new activity all around the traps. To add insult to injury, I checked one of the rat traps. The peanut butter was gone and there were mouse droppings in the trap. These traps cost a fortune. Don't waste your money. My landscaper also had no luck with these things.
RESPONSE FROM VICTOR PEST
April 4, 2012
Thank you for your online review. We are sorry you are having issues with your Victor® Multi-Kill™ Electronic Mouse Trap (model M260). We most often hear this issue when there is any type of debris (bait, dust, dirt from previous catches) on the metal plates inside of your trap. The trap functions by detecting resistance on the metal plates. If there is debris already on the plates before a mouse completely enters the trap it will misfire or not fire at all allowing it to escape unharmed. This is why it is recommended that between uses you clean out the inside of your trap.
To clean your trap:
• Remove the batteries
• Wipe the metal plates off with a damp cloth (water only – detergents can repel mice)
• Allow to air dry
• Replace the batteries
Don’t forget, your trap is backed by a one year warranty. It is important for us to understand the trouble you experienced in detail. Please contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-5-VICTOR (1-855-584-2867) so we can help.
How do I bait the Multi-Kill™? / What should I use to bait it?
To bait the Multi-Kill™ Mouse Trap, first make sure the trap is turned off. Open the kill chamber door located on top of the mouse trap. We’ve carefully researched and recommend baiting with anything high in protein like peanut butter or hazelnut spread. Place a small amount of bait (the size of a pea) against the back wall of the kill chamber. Be sure to use gloves or a tool to bait so your scent is not transferred onto the trap. Please don’t place the bait or any other material directly on the metal plates as this will falsely trip the system.
Can it be used outdoors?
The Multi-Kill™ is recommended for indoor use only. This trap was designed and manufactured to be used indoors and not exposed to the elements. If this trap is used outside, the unit could potentially short out due to weather conditions, such as rain.
How long does the battery last?
The batteries in the Multi-Kill™ mouse trap will provide approximately one year of stand-by power. The trap includes 4 "C" batteries. Find additional batteries for the Multi-Kill™ here.
