Review RateThis trap works!
Have used the rat trap for four days. Day 1-2 had no catches, but yesterday caught the first one, early this morning a second one, and this afternoon a third one. At first I just used the bait holder at the end of the trap, but once I started adding granola to the front of the trap I started catching. Had to return the first trap since the WiFi was faulty, but the replacement trap has worked flawlessly . WiFi is a great feature, to know when the trap needs resetting. The rodent is killed quickly, also, so more “humane” than glue strips or poison, and good choice for more squeamish people.

For the past 4 weeks we've been dealing with two rats in the basement I've tried everything from your conventional wooden snap traps 2 those useless sticky pads and even as far as building the YouTube famous 20 l bucket rat trap with spinning can needless to say nothing had worked these two rats had destroyed my basement the insulation the carpet and the walls with my patience tested to the max I was on my way to getting an exterminator out to the house to deal with it which would have cost in a rounds 400 something dollars as I went to Home Depot to buy rat poison I saw this machine in the corner I was very skeptical by the price if the thing had worked I can honestly say that I would have had no doubt returning the product if it did not work within 24 to 48 hours I set up the Trap with no problems setting up an account setting up the Wi-Fi and putting in the bait on a side note I believe from reading the reviews about not being able to link it to the Wi-Fi or it had been already linked to another user perhaps it was because mine was fully wrapped in clear wrap from the manufacturer maybe that's something people should take an account but back to the setting up it only took me less than 20 minutes I had put the Trap down in the basement and by the time the household went to sleep around four hours later 10 minutes my phone started beeping and it caught the first rat after using traps for four weeks this thing worked in less than 4 hours I went down to the basement picked it up didn't needs to lift the lid to remove the rat I just open the door walked across the street to the field and shook it out came back in made sure that I reset the device and by this morning I have caught the second rat this thing worked flawless much cheaper than an exterminator and no doubt in my mind that I would recommend it over anything and any kind of trap available from the stores or homemade or whatever you got on a side note I would very much like to know what the voltage rating is that killed the rat as I'm sure this might offend some people out there but dealing with these things for a month you get very frustrated and it put a huge smile on my face when I thought of the last seconds of the rat's life before it got electrocuted that's just my opinion that's just me saying. Thank you very much 4 designing this trap it made it very easy compared to everything else I did and very convenient you guys are the best I have read a few reviews and I do agree with others that you guys would seriously capitalize on this device as well as if you made an outdoor version if it would be possible thank you very much again highly recommend this product much cheaper then an exterminator

Review RateYou need 2.4 GHz WiFi
I got through the wifi set up process and kept receiving the error “access denied bad request”. Called customer service and apparently you have to have 2.4 GHz network, not 5 GHz or dual. Would have been nice to know in the product description and/or instruction manual what type of network you need to have in order for the trap to connect to. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning the product and buying the non-WiFi version.Response From Victor®Kathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

Thought it would work out, downloaded the app to my smartphone, but once I scanned in the code, I got the message that my trap was already registered to another account so I couldn't use it....so I used a more traditional method which worked out ok....Not worth the $70 I will be returning this back :-(Response From Victor®Jennifer : Consumer Relations Representative

Ingenious! Perfect for hard to access location. Easy set up, well designed app for successful capture notifications. Clean kill, no mess and easy carcass disposal.
Please Please make an outdoor version!! We set it up pretty easily. Within 1 hour we caught a Sumo sized rat. Got notified by iPhone and was easily to dispose of. Just tip it into the trash.
