The ERT trap activates when the rat completes the circuit by touching the metal plates inside the plastic housing and features a patented design. The voltage applied by the trap will break through the rat’s callused skin, claws and dirt, and will prevent even large male rats, reaching 500 grams in weight, from escaping.
A green indicator light will flash for up to 24 hours to signal that a rat has been caught.
